XC Kevlar trunk installed!

It's wicked awesome quality, and pretty simple to put on. I had to drill my own holes for the body piece to put on and the license plate, as well the stock bolts don't fit.

But I got her all installed now, tell me what you think!

BTW, the thing is crazy light! I have to add a bungie cord or something to keep it down. I didn't reinstall the lock mechanism so when you disengage the latch from the inside the truck flies up violently, so that's next on the list.

After that, I also need to get my front kevlar splitters to angle towards the ground forwards, I need more downforce not upforce! boooo!

Take a closer look at the front pic.

Sides are MSP 25T Mica Orange, Middle is MSP 16W Mica Black. But if you look closely you'll see the lips in the hood between the sides and middle has a familar black/orange weave as well.

Yes indeed my hood is also the orange kevlar.

edit: The reason I painted the middle black is so I could blend into the grill, I like that look. I dropped my grill off at one of the local cf shops here to do the matching orange kevlar but it never happened, hence the paint. I really don't think the pics do the car justice.

I had one bar on it and could not figure out why one corner was higher....so I took it off, and viola,...its straight....now to make some custom shocks to hold it up.

yeah, those trunk bars are a b**** to deal with. Same thing happened with me when i had the CF trunk on. I took em both off, than it became a b**** to keep up. So i kept a stick in my trunk to hold it up at times. I was planning on making shocks for them, but i ended up selling it before i could do that.

The trunk looks good, although you do need a red CF hood to match. Or is the trunk orange? If it's Red, DumbKeola is selling a CF hood that's red that could match.
