WTGRO (Want To Get Rid Of) - 2003 Mazdaspeed Racing Hart Rims

I have 2 essentially perfect racing hart rims from the my long gone 2003 Mazdaspeed Protege that I want to get rid of. They're not really for sale, so no pics....they're literally FREE if you're willing to pay for shipping or come pick them up. Basically mint condition and I do have pics that I took last year but too lazy to upload them at the moment. Can get pics posted if anyone is interested.

No interest and they will be going to the dump as they've been sitting in my shed for 4 years now. These rims are hellaciously expensive from a dealer and I'm sure it's very rare to find perfect used ones like this so I hate to see them go to waste.

First of all, I'm a mod, a FS mod even......

I think you can respect and understand why he's more inclined to have them picked up from his place than to have to ship them... WAY less hassle. No need for packing material, no need for a trip into town... etc.

Until a payment is made, or at very least an agreement reached, there isn't a sale. I've had a NUMBER of sellers back out on me after we had even agreed upon pricing.

Beyond that, shipping something this large and heavy to Canada could easily reach triple digits, and the current agreement is that he's going to leave the tires on, so that would either jack shipping up further, or force him to remove them, both being an expense, and a headache to deal with.

It's fine to be disappointed, but you need to calm yourself. For free stuff local usually ends up getting first dibs even if you were first to post.

Just last friday I made sent $5 more for an item than what was asked for it, someone else beat me to payment... sale goes to him. Is what it is.

I actually agree LOL - ForceFed and I were on here for a long time...I left and I'm suprised he is still around these boards. I'm tempted to give them to him just for old time's sake but the rims have tentatively been spoken for by a person that will come and pick them up from my house.

Exactly right. LE-FLO, trust me I feel bad in a way because I was in a position like you years ago where I desperately NEEDED 2 of these rims and I know how rare and crazy expensive they are. I ended up having to pay a dear price for them. I honestly would like to help you out with these but unfortunately my laziness TRUMPS ALL (except hard cold cash I guess) - dibs means nothing. These wheels will go to the person that causes me to do the least amount of work, unless someone wants to offer me serious cash money for them then I will do some work. I figured the demand for them would be very low considering to ship anywhere is guaranteed to be in the triple digits.

So far the plan is to give them to WagonBacker for free - he will pick up so I don't have to do anything. If someone is so desperate and would like to offer me cash for them on top of the shipping cost, let me know and I'll entertain the idea. But really it's going to be crazy expensive and would make more sense to just get new wheels from tire rack or something.(drinks)

That is really too bad because like I say I had these things sitting in my shed for the last 4 years. I was always going to try to sell them on here...took pictures with my screen name and date and junk (to meet the FS rules) but every single time I simply was too lazy to download from the camera, then upload them here, then create the thread, then follow through on getting quotes and potentially packaging them etc etc. I'm sure my laziness cost me at least a couple hundred bucks. (sad2)I had a few other MSP items that I ended up junking too.

Actually this reminds me -- I 'THINK' I have a set of brand new Mazdaspeed floor mats still in my garage. They are the 2003 OEM Mazdaspeed mats...never been used....fronts only. Any interest? If so I'll see if I can find them and post some pics and put them up for sale? Any idea how much I could/should ask for them?
