WTF did I see?

OK, I tend to tell super long stories, so I'll make this one simple.

Coming home from school, see what looks like race car, immediately follow & think it's a McLaren F1! (wow) Followed the guy & got a good look at both sides, then came to a stop light, where I got 1 semi-blurry pic (hard to take night mode pics by hand). You can see some of the details in the pic, but this is what else I noticed:

1. twin dual-tip exhaust, very similar to this

2. looked like a race car, was EXTREMELY low, & smaller than my car
3. saw a passenger too, so I know it holds 2 people (the interior was VERY small, so I'm surprised they both fit in there)
4. some kind of big scoops on the doors
5. driver had an LCD screen in the middle (but not IN the dash)

The only 2 guesses I could come up with are the Ultima GTR or the Ferrari F50 GT, but neither one of these matches the pic quite right. I know my exotics pretty well & I can tell you that this wasn't some normal car or I would have recognized it (the pic looks like an old Lambo kinda, but it wasn't one). Anyway, I attached my pic & the rear of the McLaren F1 (still the closest match IMO, although I'm almost positive this isn't what it was).

I drove next to him & figured he would gun it or something, but he went 40-45 the ENTIRE time. We had just gotten of the highway into my "city" & the speed limit is 45, but after the stop light, I took off & he still went slow, so I let him catch back up. This whole thing probably took 5 mins & then we went opposite directions. Guess he was afraid to race the MSP. (burnout)

Yeah, I go to school in Boca Raton & see like 284084230 Porsche 911s every day. Seeing Ferraris & stuff isn't surprising there either. I've seen a Murcielago in Orlando & I posted my pic of a Gallardo from Naples a little while ago (that place had as many Ferraris as Boca has Porsches). I live in Weston & while my subdivision isn't rich, I'm only 2 canals, 2 tree rows, & 1 road away from Dan Marino's house (total distance a couple miles). My mom used to be his wife's banker & the area that he lives in is all multi-million $$ houses. Only thing is when I lost this guy, he was headed out to the old people neighborhood LOL.

Looks like an Ultima.

That's what I thought, but the rear of the Ultima is too big & the exhaust is in the middle of the rear section, not at the bottom. Tail lights are also close, but not the same.

My best guess is a mclaren F1 Long edition or whatever they are called. They produced them for a few years for track perposes only so I don't know where or how you'd get one street legal.

The only thing I noticed that no one has commented on is the off-center scoop on the rear window. I don't know much about exotics, but maybe that is a give away for a certain company/model???
