well the begi unit is the best because fully adjustable...the vortech FMU is just simple 12:1 or 10:1 ect.

do you have aftermarket fuel pump? if not you can only do 5-7psi depending on your peak pressure

well im new to boost to whts fmu? and whts a good one ?

fmu = fuel management unit
rrfpr = rising rate fuel pressure regulator

an rrfpr is one version of an fmu

for that you will also need an aftermarket fuel pump. Stock fuel pump cannot handle that pressure.

i would be careful on stock internals with no timing control at that level of boost :(

that said, if you are using a fuel pressure regulator there is no choice other than BEGi

werd...39 deg of timing and a bad tank of fuel or too much load, BOOM

The wastegate on the turbo is set at 9psi...what would you guys recommend he use to get the kit up...I was running it with the MPI tuner so I didnt have any problems...But I sold the kit to him without the MPI because I might install it with the stripper kit...

ok lol wht will i need so tht i wont blow the car up but itll run good list all options and if ya have the items name a price i will have the money in a few weeks

keep the boost as the stock Mazdaspeed, between 6-9psi is good with proper fuel management. You may want to get a mazdaspeed ecu, an mpi tunner or a standalone EMS!
