actually i did read the post, and i realized that what skinny joint is talking about is not the same part that im missing. im talkin about the cap in the bottom right corner of the windshield, not the cap on the wiper arm. i did check that link...and to be honest, it just confused me lol

I didn't know our cars came with these :) I just have one that I got off a friend's car that he was junking because it fit. It falls out though.

Edit: hey that web site is awesome. Anyone know the part number for the little plastic screws that hold our wheelwell covers to the front bumper? A couple of mine are stripped from repeatedly replacing and cleaning my cold air intake filter and I need to get my bumper off. The only way I can get it off right now is to destroy the plastic screws that are there.

It's one of those annoying pieces we all seem to lose. I've been missing the cowl cap for about a year but still won't break down and buy this $1.91 part

i have this one single clip/xmas tree thingy missing on my rear passenger side door thats been missing since i pulled off the trim to switch speakers about a year ago. it not being drives me up the freakin wall.

thanks for the site!! really going to come in handy!!

Short answer, no I don't know the number, but I did buy a bag of 8 (?) of them from the dealer because my car was missing a few, and some others were stripped like yours, and they were some painful price, like $10. (Painful because you just know they cost about a nickel each to make.) Unfortunately none of the auto supply stores around here had anything that would fit. They all stocked similar nylon screws but they were either too big or too small.

If you find a reasonable source for these please post it.

EDIT: look here

Unfortunately the price is still about $2 each.

Look at post #6 man. It's the cap that cover the bolt that holds down your windshield cowl.

Here is the tap/plastic screw that holds the bumper to the fender well:

Look at the illustration so you know what you need.

Just so ya'll know. I have order from these people and I had no issues. Parts came pretty quick for my wifes volvo.

bahahaha, I've always wanted to pry apart the lens and housing to black out the chrome housing. I guess this means it can be done.
