I have coilovers to adjust height, but will they rub?

im on stock wheels (17x7 +55 offset) lowered pretty low on ground controls. the only reason i dont rub with 225/45s in the front is because i run a little negative camber. i think if u lower the car a lot and then go get an alignement, ull probably rub with a +50. eh?
+52, maybe run a little negative camber and u might get away with it.

EDIT: this is on a MAZDASPEED Protege, not P5, sorry...

i'd be willing to bet that a little more camber in the rear+fender rolling would prevent any rubbing. if your suspension is super stiff, that probably helps, too.

you could say that (TEIN SS)

I had the K-Sports on for a while, but didn't like them. Sold them to a friend of mine, and put the TEINs back on. I'm also running Delsing Camber Plates in the front.

I wish i could get more camber up front and in the rear.

maybe some fender work would do it. i don't know the exact math on the wheel/suspension combo, but if it doesn't rub on the coilover and only on the fender, and fender roll and/or pull/stretch may be in your future. although if people are rubbing on 225s in their sedans, you may have to roll the shiat out of your fender.

i could be wrong, though.

i guess I'll have to settle for 215/40

i'm going to try to squeeze 245/45/16 for autocross

well, don't base that decision solely off me. i sold my p5 over a year ago so i'm a little removed from the p5 world. but that's what i recall. i'd still try for a 225. i'd shoot xelderx a pm. IIRC, he was running some pretty wide tires on his setup.
