Will mazdaspeed3 18" stock rims fit on a P5?

im on 225/40/18 and i cant have more then 2 people in my car or the fender will eat into the tread. but if you have your fenders rolled you will be fine on 225/40/18. they ride so much better then the 215/35/18 imo, im getting my fenders rolled soon

sorry to restart this thread but I'm looking at getting some of these rims for my protege sedan
Has anyone tried a 40 tyre. I need to know if there will be any rubbing on the strut or guard with stock suspension. I might lower my car later but only an inch.

If there is rubbing will 35 be all clear or not?

I got 0 rubbing lowered on mine with 35. 40 you will most likely rub. I look at them and still do not know how they do not rub sometimes. LOL. You wouls have to use a feeler gauge to measure the distance between the inside rim lip and the strut but no rubbing. Just do not use any clamp on wheel weights cause they will hit.

is this even with stock height? I always have more than 2 people in my car and am thinking of going with bigger rims than the stock P5's, but stock height

bleh 35s are just too impractical where i live. im always going on dirt roads with tons of random holes in them. i was thinking about getting those rims too. oh well :(

35 is not that bad. Hampton roads area is the worse I have seen for potholes. Just takes soe getting used to.
