why is every forum bashing the speed3?

LOL.. I was on the highway today and a BRAND NEW Civic SI (still had window sticker) pulled on next to me.. I hear em downshift and start to punch it so I do the same (was in 6th downshifted to 5th) and smoked his ass. Gotta suck getting owned just minutes after buying a new car.

lol my friend in his newGTi thinks he can beat the ms3 LOL even i can beat a stock one in my cx-7 i can't imagine what will happen in the ms3 that is coming!!!

You mean like how MSP owners talk s*** about SRT-4's not having power rear windows, 'cause they know that stock for stock an SRT-4 will walk away from their ass all day long in a straight line? That kind of thing?

Really every forum bashes everybody. This forum is guilty of bashing other cars all the time. As much as everyone would love to keep things civil, there will always be rivalries.
Everyone knows the aftermarket for other cars is more widely available than for the MS3 and with a few mods, most of those cars can easily keep up to an MS3. As soon as the engineers working on parts for the MS3 catch up to everyone else, you all know it will be lights out from there.
In my opinion we should all just get along and enjoy what we all love, fast cars, pre-black album metallica, and loose women.

Kids arguing with kids. People with their wits about them and a few shreds of maturity can appreciate all cars regardless of auto-maker and performance.
I am in my 30s. My friends are in their 30s. We all drive different cars. No one cares who's a little faster or who corners a little better. We all hang out, swap stories, goof off a little bit, and go home after having a great time.
I don't care if someone's car goes to 60 .2 seconds faster than mine. Those fighting to stay on top of the performance hatch performance bubble are fighting a losing battle unless you like buying a new car every year or two.

00 mustang gt? stock? hmm...the ms3 has that one by a car at least.
No, it's not stock. Most significant mod on it is the exhaust though...x-pipe and catback. The best time I was ever able to pull off at Gateway Intl. Raceway was a 14.3 @ 99mph. Definitely had more than 1/4 tank of gas and my 2 amps and 10" sub were still in it. That also may have been when I had 3.73s in the car. I don't think I'll be taking my MS3 for any runs over there though...there'd be too much pressure and all the larger displacement N/A cars would have me under a microscope.

lol, take your car on a holiday...i know a friend that took his on saint patricks day and there wasnt anybody, so he ran the whole night over and over...thing is, i rather go get myself some punane...hehe

the MS3 can run even with anything that runs 13.3 and up on the 1/4mile...the only reason it has crappy times is because its sucks at launching (yay FWD!) and it doesnt have that much power 1-2...and 2-3 as a matter of fact.

I've owned 6 mustangs and I know the cars well - currently building an Factory Five Cobra from a GT donor.
From a dead stop the MS3 has no chance against an 00 GT mustang. The early torque advantage cannot be over come and the 00 GTs can run 13.9 Qtr mile all day long with a 0-60 in the low 5s.
The only Mustang GTs you might take are 94-95 and the 96-98 versions. But the 94-95 would be tough and the 96-98 would be a better chance
I love my MS3, but it is not going to beat every car out there. Now on a road course the MS3 has a good shot at out running a stock Mustang.
