i think you should have raced him before you asked our opinion, you shouldn't be afraid to lose a race.

honestly i love racing cars that i think are faster so if i do win im super happy and hey if u lose u can always pick on a car u know u can beat on the way home after its win win (thumb) oh btw to respond to the question... i have a friend with a tc and the msp walks all over it in every gear... i have a greddy emanage and he has cai and header back exhaust

Okay guys, i'm back and beated the TC.....The rumor about the quickness......It's all Bull......You know....Man, I beaten him by at least 3 cars or a little more.....Some how I just got the almost perfect shift and bam I went on the launch....I beaten him by atleast if not one car or less on the launch and second gear, I took the lead by another car and dam that was kool...Thanks guys for the tips.....

congrats! i lost my last race to a gsr with i/h/e and an apexi vtec/fuel computer. he only pulled about a carlength from a 10mph roll to 110mph. nice kill, now mod your car and race something faster.

You lost to a gsr with a 1.8t? You need a better chip (so might your car... !!). Of course, GLi's are heavier, and better equipped, and you drove home in more comfort than the gsr did... my '90 small-bumper 2.016v GLI was a ball... ah memories...

yeah, i'm all stock except for the b.o.v. hopefully that'll change soon now that i have a boost gauge (can clamp the map sensor voltage and up boost with a mbc). but i thought for sure i'd take him...no such luck.

Good job man. Its kinda funny I had a race tonight vs a TC with this tool and his girl in it. He was acting hard and his car was "blinged out" but I beat him by at least 15+ cars from the onramp to the freeway. I was a lil pissed tonight and wanted to have a lil fun. Tough night on the job, you could say... (sun) . I was in the EVO though...but Im sure in the MSP I could have beat him...

this cocky kid i really dont like just got a 2008 scion tc... i think hes one of those people who thinks his car is godly and is undefeatable. its a 4sp auto, despite the fact its got about 140 maybe to the wheels, the tranny is really holding that car back

I've had my 03.5 for about 3 months and here is a list of cars I've walked to date. I don't provok at all, so this a list of guys flexing their muscles trying to race me.

Scion XA- He really should not have tried (It was funny)
(One Model ago) Eclipse Spider- Dude looked lame in his convertable
Bug eyed WRX Wagon- He was not that fast on the top end, Really nice looking wagon though.
Civic Hatch- B Series swap, He was slow.
02 Civic EX- Co worker doesn't really know about cars.
01 Civic EX 4Dr ( he actually lost it in the a turn and spun out of control. he jacked his car bad).

I would love to come across a TC and give it a run, but no such luck yet.

Buddy at work has a MS6 and wants me to race him, but I know I will def lose that race.

All happens on the freeway. Mostly moving or rolling starts really. I commute to work and I work nights, so there is only a couple folks to race when I go to work.

got next to one, the tarmac was wet so i couldn't launch.. but once we got moving, the guy was high reving it and was WOT ( he told me afterwards) and so was i and i walked him inch by inch in 3rd and 4th to 100 mph.. then we let go..

are they really not that fast? or maybe it was the driver? one thing is for sure.. when he was reving it beside me and i was in third.. he wasn,t getting anywhere exept behind me..
