Who has a Protege Sedan w/ MP3/MSP KIT??

parts

Has everyone gone through their local dealer?

Is there a better place to get the kit?

I'm going to be posting all of the info on the conversion probably tomorrow.(part#'s, installation process, etc) Where in IL do you live? Are you close to WI? I may be able to help you out.

Good luck in posting.. A lot of mp3 people where complaining
a lot on how people can build there own mp3. And they don't
feel that their cars are limited anymore. So I hope you have
better luck than I did. Its prolly cooled down by now but I
said I wouldn't post it.

How much are parts from the dealer. BTW you can find "used" parts from P5. There is this site that has the wrecking yards and their inventory for the whole US. You would still have to paint is, so you might want to try that.

For the front you need - new bumper support, new bumper, fogs.

You want to pay attention if you want the markers on the bumper like the P5 has.

Show me another Garnet red Protege with the Mp3 conversion. Didn't think so. Show me one person with a Laser Blue LX or ES Protege looking for the conversion. Thought so. If they are complaining then let them. There is no "law" saying that people can't do what they want to their own cars. Their is a reason that Mazda put numbers for limited edition cars. I'm going to do what I want to do. Like it or not!

Yeah exactly! I got flammed hard when I put up a post that said I wanted to buy all the outter MSP body stuff. But tell me, who owns a sunlight silver MSP?and besides, its not like I'm going to go out and get the MSP badges either. I dont want them or the fogs for that matter. I just like the look of the MP3, MSP a whole lot better than the stock LX ES's..

Every MP3 owner should be happy that Mazda didn't release the Protege with ground effects like they did with the Protege5.
