...well. I just came back from the track....and WTF!!!!! when I was so excited with my car doing 14s, this Red Protege5 (just like mine) arrives, and guess what. HE SHOT a 12.1s. I was so #$%@#$ overwhelmed that i didnt took a good look to the MPH. I think it was 132mph.
Same guy that was doing 13.4 on an automatic @ 18PSI, now with a manual trans, forged internals, and a wolf management system....12.1 Hes an asshole, he doesnt want to talk about what he has under the hood.
I do have a vid doing 14.1 on the auto trans, next time I will not race, and wait on the bleachers with my cam.

**** it - i'm staying at 6 psi. i'll buy the lighter flywheel, maybe the LSD and call it quits. there's no real reason for me to be spending this much money to go just that fast in a friggin' protege.

My problem is I want a pleasurable daily drive that if I do get cought in traffic my right foot doesn't go dead from the clutch.
I have no problem doing that spead in a protege. But at it the reliability of the car is in the crapper. Nothing is built to take that much power in this car. So I am trying to get a running idea of what it will cost to do what I want with this car and compare that against getting another.

Yeah thats right an EvoKiller literally, i know b/c my brother has one and it pulls on it period. We just dropped a stage three clutch on the evo too, and we are planning on going with the HKS complete upgrade for it which should be good for a little over 500whp. anyways if there is still disbelief of the annihilation of the mistsu evoviii i have video.
