Who else has ordered the Microtech?

The mustang is sold so thats not an option any longer.
My car has been for sale for some time, I just haven't listed it :D

oh and I pay $255/month for my 2003.5 P5 :p

car ran about 6.5 zero to sixty tonight. i'm going to hook up the fuel pressure gauge tommorow as it seems like my AF gauge is reading too rich. i hate tuning the AFPR on this car. i had to fiddle around with it entering/leaving certain altitudes.

where all this relates to this particular thread; i don't want the allout $2k microtech. i like my stock tachometer anyhow :) i know terry was selling or working on a fuel only cheaper microtech that would allow for 9 psi. has this been tested/completed/bought by anyone yet, if so for how much? terry have you tested it?

my other option is the Haltech E6 and sensor package from HiBoost that supposedly has a real good 10psi fuel map for about $800. I'm really curious to know what Spool has that is comparable.

The microtech computer purchased by autorage belongs to my protegemp3, they do all my installs and customizations.

Good lord! mods?

Don't forget about the MPI option

check out my thread called 8psi mp3, tunning this thing is a pain, but once you get it tuned all is well. controlls fuel and timing.

how much!?!?!!? VERY INTRIGUED AM I

$1K for injectors and the piggy. This is the one perfworks was working on...remember?

the microtech does as well. does this mean i lose the functional factory tach like i would with the microtech? between the cost of it and that factor, it makes me want to buy a fuel only solution.

nope, sorry :)? i missed all of that. probably those two months or so where i had pretty much abandoned the forum.

you wont loose any functions. also with the haltech e6k(or X) controls timing as well and you wont loose your tach

i did type e6x didn't i? i actually meant the F10, my apologies :(

((goes to find wall to put head through))

Why would you get an F10 when you can get an e6X?

then again, just get the MPI.

cost, ease of installation, easier to tune, built in fuel maps. if its fuel control only and has the maps on there the down time I am told for tuning it would be lessened. the f10 from HiBoost has the new MAP sensor and fuel maps for 10 psi. I don't have any desire to put down 14psi or something nutty like that.

of course, if I am really looking for something "plug and play" I should just wait and see what Flyin Miata has in the works...theirs is a long way off though so I am looking at what else is out there.

do you have a link to Modern Performance? i searched for the website and just found an SRT-4 parts company :) how ironic

www.modernperformanceinc.com

But the web page is a little weak and doesn't show any Protege stuff. . .but give Nick a call, he's cool, and he'll explain all.

Can do piggyback, standalone, with or without injectors, with or without an 80 mm MAF.

Thing could be the s*** for us. . .

I'm still waiting for a few specific people to post their results. . .
damn this threadjack though. . .sorry Spool.
