I went with the HKS type 0 (I think). It has the small 4" x 1" display/controller that hooks up to the larger sending unit that you hide and only requires splicing a couple wires. It was about a 30 minute install, very easy. A harness would really be overkill for it.

I have one I haven't installed yet, but it looks like T-taps are my friends!!

the type 0 looks real nice, works well and fits nicely in the pocket next to the shifter.
