hey guys im going to start the moddin with a motor mount sense cobb sri's are no where to be found i was thinkin the su motor mount cause ive heard nothing but good things about it but last time i dealt with su i was not very pleased.. so i was wondering what might be some good options. i was thinkin su because it seems like a very easy install any personal experiences with any motor mount would be apreciated and if u could post ur install times i would highly appreciate it thanks

TRZ with the Delrin inserts is nice, have seen that mount in the speed3. Personally I have the AWR with the 80 durometer and have seen that in the speed6 with success.

i just installed my trz mount. once the car is jacked and you do it correctly, this install should take no more than 20 minutes.

i've heard nothing but good things about the su mount, only reason i didn't get it was because i got the trz less expensively than the su

That TRZ is a deal if you can find someone who has it in inventory, that was the mount I ordered first. The SU and the CPE are expensive. HOWEVER, this mod is more than you think it is. The difference is incredible, granted I got the race bushings so it is a little harder but well worth it!

First I got the AWR 70d mount. At the time thought the vibes were too bad for the benefits. Changed to the CS inserts. I ran these for quite a while and they weren't too bad, but wanted to upgrade. Then went to the TRZ poly mount. This mount in my opinion is almost perfect. Improves shifting greatly, but a few vibes. Now I am trying the CP-E mount. I have had it for a while but put off installing it till I saw some reviews from people changing from TRZ. Didn't see what I was looking for and went ahead and installed. As far as vibes it is almost like the stock mount, but I am not feeling the same solid shifts as I was getting from the TRZ poly. So I will give it another day or two and if my feelings about it don't change then I am going to go back to the TRZ to stay. For me the shifting feeling far outweighs the few vibrations that I get. That is my $.02 on motor mounts.

I've got the SU MM, just installed yesterday. So far it is an excellent improvement over stock and the vibes are very minimal. I personally could have handled a heftier mount b/c in my old car it would vibe like crazzzzzyyyyy so w/ the SU MM I hardly notice it. If you're not much one for vibes go with the SU b/c from what I've researched it seems to be the best balance between performance and usability -- especially if the MS3 is ur daily driver...

does the trz come in a few flavors like the awr and su?
i got mine used from a member here and i don't know if there are different strengths or not.

but to piggyback on what mazdaspeedster3 said, changing the mount makes a huge difference and really should be one of the first things you do to this car, IF NOT THE FIRST.

i drove on my stock mount for a year. what a ******* mistake. when i got it out, the rubber was ****** UP

I dont think it really matters what you change it to as long as you change it. The TZR poly was the first thing I bought for my car, followed by the TWM short shifter and shifter base bushings. Those three things put together are simply amazing and some of the easiest things you will ever install on a car.
