Which gauge style to buy??

DAmmit I think the gauge face is bent back on the right, da's gotta be whay the light is overpowered on the right side. Pretty jacked up! Sucks if I have to send it back. Maybe I'll get a free A/F ratio gauge(stash)

Get the Autometer CF series..I have them..they are super nice and i have never had a prob with them.Work perfect.

My .02 cents

get defi, and have the best looking and the most accurate mechanical gauge on the market.

Sucks though cause I just stickied my steering wheel gauge pod to the car w/ the boost gauge in it. It'll be a beeaatch to take it out.

Guess I'll just have to imagine that the 0-10psi area is extra bright on that side to display the boost(dunno)

Any pics of the Stewart Waner gauges at night, with out the l.e.d. kit? Just trying to see if its worth shelling out more money for the l.e.d kit.

Well, I have a triple pod with phantoms, but that's cause they match the 02 P5 cluster better. After 2002.5 they switched to the silver gauge faces, so I think the Ultra Lite looks better with that and on an MSP.

Go for the tried and true Autometer. Good price, good gauges. Real racers use them. Everyone sells them so you can get a good price. I'll be putting in AF, Oil Press, and Volt. under the radio very soon.

Does anyone have any thoughts about A'pexi gauges?????
They look like they are of very good quality. I like the looks of the MeterII gauges, just don't like the electroluminescence blue though. They are a pretty penny as well.

What do you all think of the VDO gauges offered by 42 draft designs (the guys who make the 3 gauge under radio panel)? The price is certainly right. I am thinking about the white face boost, oil pressure, and volt gauges.

Kinda plain IMHO. I went with the Autometer Ultra-Lite series. Not super fancy but a little nicer I think than the VDO.

I have the 3-gauge DIN panel installed where the little cubby w/ a door was located. Most people think it came stock that way. I like it very much.

I wired an oil pressure guage (maintaining the stock oil light), a voltmeter, and a boost gauge (all VDO). I couldn't think of anything more useful than those... other than maybe an EGT.... which I couldn't afford at the time. 42draft was a pleasure to do business with.

I got red LED's which match the red in the Kenwood radio buttons perfectly. I also tried amber LED's which were really close to the color of the stock gauges and A/C controls... but I wanted red....

Thanks CarlM2! Did you go with white face gauges? Was the install difficult? Any Pics?

GUS is Guage Ultra Shift Light

it is a digital tach with built in shift light that is the size of a regular guage.

I think the Ultra-Lite series matches our gauges best. We have silver and so are the Ultra-Lites. Also the "red" bulb condom matches our orange dash color.
