well i'll just be getting back from iraq, and going to kansas, but i was going to take leave in feb. and go back home(orlando), but i probably wont even take leave til june now, being that i want to take car of a few things when i get back as in bills, which im pround to announce that the pro5 will/should be paid off after only 3 yrs of ownership being bought brand spanking new in jun 02' ... but anyway so i probably wont be able to do anything til june or so.

Ok other then the major cities, thats why I thought of a park on the Gulf or Ocean side somewhere like the Cape Canv. State Park or something other then urban spawl...you now one of those places you can actually hear yourself think..Heck is there any east coast beaches left you can drive on, that would be awesome meet up early and park all side by side on the actual beach, most states cant top that group picture.

We had originally planned that exact thing for the July meet... last... July. We came to the conclusion that most cars would have problems overtaking the entrace ramps to the beach (bottoming out). I've been going to daytona for over 20 years and the ramps have never really changed from their friggiin 45degree off horizon (may be an exaggeration). It's a real b****. I voted for Melbourne, b/c I think it would be awesome to have a 50 Mazda pic in front of the rocket garden at the cape (I know it's a little north of Melbourne). There is a lot of history in Melbourne (FLORIDA!), and it is remote enough to not have to deal with urban traffic, plus, I know of a Sonic Burger there by the airport and we don't have Sonic down here (friggin love Sonic's taters). Anyways let the voting continue...

I vote this the best post of the thread so far. We have remembering the fun of the beach at Daytona, suggestion of a new place to go, and mention of Sonic. (first)

Lucky for me, I can literally see one from my front yard. But I doubt anyone down south would come up to Alachua for a meet. (poke)
