Wheels...HUB or LUG centric???

Hey all, I just ordered wheels for the wifes P5 the other dayand as I was setting here tonight, I realized that I never asked if the wheels were hubcentric or lugcentric. So to all that have changed them, what's the deal?? I need to make sure that I have all the proper hardware to get them mounted in time for Carlisle, assuming the wheels make it here from Cali in time.

did you mail order them? or did you go to a shop? if you went to a shop I find it hard to believe that the salesperson didn't bring it up IF You needed new hardware...that is of course unless you had some kid working there that didn't know his butt from a hole in the ground....boy I hate it when that happens and you basically have to tell them HOW to do THEIR job! lol

seems to me you should be able to look up the wheels you ordered and figure it out pretty quick if you need additional hardware for those specific wheels or not. and if you do...get it ordered right away....
 
It depends on what the center bore of your wheels are? I dont know the exact size, but the Xenex H50 wheels I have match the hub size so I dont have the centering rings....however my bf, on his 99 Cougar needs the rings for his Ace Spades

Whatever you do, PLEASE check it out before you slap the rims on. If the wheel is lug centric and you drive around on them, there is a good chance you will have some vibration--might even be pretty bad. This will put TONS of stress on your wheel studs, possibly breaking them.

Your kidding, right? Has it come to the point that people post to a internet forum for information rather than just walk outside and look? Sorry, I just had to get that out.

I just rotated tires and aligned the front end last night so I know they're lug-centric. 5 X 114.5 if I rember correctly. Also 21mm lugs as I recall.

Zeus, he isn't talking about the wheels that are on his car NOW, he is talking about the ones he just ordered....but...I think that information would be easily enough attained as well. Just a call to where ever he ordered the wheels from.
 
Ok, folks, here's the deal. Most of the wheels and tires that I have had, have been purchased in packages, from The Tire Rack, which includes all the proper hardware if needed. My 240SX has hubcentric rings. My Talon needed nothing. Anyway, I ordered the wheels from a company in Cali and the guy spoke very broken "engrish" and I had a hard enough time getting the info from him that I forgot to ask if they came with the rings or anything. The other reason that I asked the "forum" was that the car was not here, it's my wifes and she was at work, so I was hoping that someone might respond before whe got home. Anyway, to those that gave advise, thanks, to those that criticized...KMA!
