Wheel Spacers?

Does anyone use wheel spacers on an MSP? I'm considering getting a set of 1/4" or 1/8" for the front end (is it a problem to space the front only BTW? Or should I get for back end also?) since the 225 Kuhmo MXs I've got are rubbing ever so slightly when the wheel is fully turned, rears appear to be getting plenty of clearance.

hoping for a recomendation....

also - would I need to replace the lug bolts using those? or will stock still work ok w/the different total offset?

You could just change the travel lock by welding a small piece of metal to limit the ammount of steering you have.

Spacers would require longer studs and IMO it would affect the way your car would respond.

Pain in the Butt.

I'm going to take a wild guess and say welding anything like that would not be legal in DStock (though it has occured to me I shouldn't be getting the wheel turned that far very often anyway).

Even the 1/8" you think would need longer studs?

Probably not, but then you would be taking an 8th of an inch off of what holds your tires on. It might not be enough, you may need to bigger to get the cleance you require. It seems that you are pretty hard on your tires anyway, for the occaisonal time you go full trun, it seems like a minor problem...

Why not just get longer studs? I had a stud break last week, went to the local parts store and grabbed another, think it was all of $1.50. You might have to do a little homework though to find the correct fit with the extended length. Pretty easy to replace if you find some though.

Ask micaspeed. He has spacers on the MSP. He said that it does require new studs... I think he got the ones from Tire Rack, but I could be way off...
