Wheel Hub

We all know I HAD custom wheels, but when I was switching back to the stock, I found that two of the mounting screws were stripped and rusted...hopefully this is covered under warrenty

To get it covered, you'd have to convince them that its "unusual" wear. After tire changes, and adding aftermarket rims, they might just say that it's a result of those things. If you really dont want to pay for it, you're gonna have to go in mad, and complain that they're inferior or something. Doubt you'll get covered, though. Just remember, those bolts are the same on all recent mazdas, so you can go to a junkyard and get the whole mount replaced. Easy do-it-yourselfer.

when you say "mounting screws" I will assume you are refering to the STUDS sticking out of the hub?

does anyone know if the studs in our hubs/discs are screwed in or pressed in from the back? I personally have never had my discs off and looked. either way....it wouldn't be that difficult to replace the studs.

I dont know which, old mazdas had them bolted in. Either way, the whole hub or just bolts, its a cheap fix.
