Whats the Trade in Value of MSP?

I suggest posting your car in a classified ad or by private sell. You will get more for your car. Believe me I know about up-side-down on cars. I had a 2002 Mazda Protege 5 and traded it in for my 2003.5 MSP. I lost about $3,000. The only reason I did that was because I wrecked it before and didn't like a hatchback any more. :D

With a good salesman a MSP is a easy sell. 1 They are not everywhere. 2. not to many people know about them (makes them an impluse buy). BTW Mazdas incentives have change the rebates for the msp are gone....(there is a little dealer cash though)

I bought mine on an impulse, I was looking at a mazda6 :) Though, they did have like 5 on the lot =/

Me to. I wanted a 6S 5-speed with the sport package, and the Bose 6cd system.
But when I was looking they were all sold. I even put down a deposit to have one built for me. But after I saw the speed and the other dealer pissed me off. I canceled the check and bought my Speed.

On topic: I bet if you are lucky you could get 14k for one. 14K for trade in not retail price :D

I paid more than 14k for mine. 16.9k to be exact. Orange MSP with 7700 mi. on it. May have paid too much, but it meant something to me to buy it from a Mazdaspeed dealer and the dealer who sold it originally. As it turns out, they were full of s*** just like any other dealer. 'Nother thread entirely....

MrDiggler, you paid $16,900 for a used one this week? You have indeed made my day - bought mine new (with 15 miles on the clock) 4 weeks ago today for a shade over $16,000.

Guess mine has gone up in value already!

I was looking at a 2004 Subaru Impreza at $27,000. I just couldn't afford it and I went to Mazda and then bought my MSP. I am pretty happy with my MSP. I wanted a car that is not "common".

Hey Hello there's a MS dealer in P cola? I didn't think that there was one up there. I didn't see a single MSP when I went home for christmas....

No, there isn't a MSP dealer in P'Cola. I'm in the Air Force and I was stationed at Ft. Gordon, GA and I purchased it there at Rader Mazda. I asked Sandy Sansing, why can't he sell the MSP and he said that Mazda said he isn't a qualified dealer to carry the MSP.

P'Cola is my home of residence, I lived here all my life before I joined the military.
