heres the thing, the screw on top of the engine, should be the idle adjustment...when i adjusted the same type screw on my bmw the idle would run from 500 to about 3000, whan i turn it on the mazda it does very little, maybe a difference of 500 rpm's from turning the screw all the way in to all the way out, doesn't sound right does it ? the idle should travel up and down as i turn the screw...right ? the idle adjustment looks like it is at the screw more to the front of the engine than the first screw. under/behind the piece to rev the engine is under the hood is a screw with what looks like an allen screw hole and a retaineing screw. if you turned this screw in a few it should increase the idle...(ughdance)
let me know if any of that makes sense...the bmw was much easier to work on.(glare)
