What Shift knobs do you guys use?

What Shift knobs do you guys use? I was planning on getting either the one that comes stock in the MSP or the one that comes with the M3 sport. I like to see what you guys are using makes and such.

My dealer has the MSP one and can sell it to me for $80 Canadian, guy ordered it and never picked it up, worth it?

Depends on what you need and like. I only switched the knob to the leather M-3 knob because my 2002 P5 had the plastic ball knob. Many folks on this forum go with Momo, Kartboy, Sparco, or the MSP. I believe the weight of the Momo, Kartboy, Sparco, or the MSP knobs is greater. Some people feel that this weight leads to a more "authoratative" shift feel.

Hope this helps.

I use the stock one. I had our old '01 miata knob on the Pro5 for a while(which was lighter), but chose to put the heavier stock Pro5 knob back on because it does feel better. It gives you a bit more leverage making the throw a bit easier.

I'm using the stock P5 knob right now, but I bought a Mazda 3 knob to replace it. =) I think it looks much classier. The stock knob is just plain.

Is it the Plastic Round knob that you currently have?

i have the MSP 03.5 knob, my only complaint is that in the winter, the chrome ring up top gets COLD, REAL COLD.

Stock: 2003 leather egonomic knob. I love it! I know some have complained about how large it is, but I have pretty big hands, so there's no problem.

I switched my old P5 2002 knob for a leather P5 2003. I liked the shape better. I am waiting on my Mazdaspeed Corksport carbon shifter to be delivered.

i use the sparco techno blue shift knob. i like it alot, but it spins. i have to try to fix it soon.

Stock. I had a razo GT advance aluminum knob but it was too cold and it wasn't as ergonomic in my hand so my tendons in my wrist were constantly hurting after long trips. The stock 03 knob is great, leather, heavier, larger and more comfortable. Paired it w/ the B&M short shifter and it rocks.
