What mileage are you getting?

I know that many of you don't obsess about fuel economy, but it's important to me because of gas prices and the constant arguments I get from Honda owners that their cars are more efficient.

So, for those of you that keep track, what mileage are you getting from your P5?

I have a manual, and I was getting an average of 29 mpg stock on regular unleaded. I switched to premium for a while but I wasn't making enough mileage difference to justify the difference in cost of gas.

I added a CAI and was making 31 mpg.
I added NGK Iridium spark plugs and Sparkco wires last week, and I made 34 mpg on my last tank.

I know I do well with up to 10PSI's.
Anything above that, I am eating gas like a MOFO.

i get usually 25 all city, and 29-30 highway, stock. highest was 30.8 going 420 miles on the tank. (roadtrip)

I get 29-30 average, although I have seen 33 on a pure highway tank.

As for octane ratings: there is absolutely NO reason to run higher octane fuel in a P5. None. It does not give you better gas mileage. It does not produce more horsepower.

Unless you have a turbo...

i get about 26 miles to the gallon on 93 octane fuel
 You must be the turboed MP3/P5 with the best mpg.

I'm getting 27mpg pretty consistenly. Even though my commute is all highway you really can't call bad stop and go traffic Highway miles.

Last tank I got was insane. I got about 300 miles on the tank and it was still at 1/4 of a tank when it was filled again. Pretty cool huh?

the corolla and civic get the best milage, but are way to boring to drive and their looks are pretty bland as well...

I prefer a car like the P5 which gets me about 500km per tank and is so fun to drive.

So if you get arguements that the civic gets better milage, they are right, but you can tell them that the P5 is twice the car everywhere else.

My '03 manual with ~2150 miles has been getting 26-27 with almost solid city driving. No crazy-ass highway commutes for me! It's 9.2 miles roundtrip of pure urban jungle.
