Here at ProtegeGarage we have relized the lack of enthusiasm and zelous toward producing parts and stocking OEM parts for the 1st and 2nd gen proteges... So we want to know WHAT if anything we can do to help you guys out, we are PROTEGEgarage right :)? Are there specific things needed? Do you need replaicement oem prices at the always great prices of Protegegarage or do we need to develope some new creations for the car?! We look forward to taking the steps back into the roots of why we love these cars so much and providing even greater service to ALL of the members of this forum!

On a side note i would like to thank aliennation95gt for his helpful information via PM (first)

Wow, this is a nice move towards producing/helping us 1st and 2 genners with regard to our beloved cars...Nice move

well ... im new to this forum and hey ... 1st post too also a new 1st time mazda owner having picked one up for 300.00 ( 92 1.8 sohc 5 spd) as a beater to get to and from work ... well after driving it twice i realised the potentioal this car has to be fun. so i would have to say i personally would be mostly interested in oem parts @ good prices primarily then some zoom zoom later.

good to hear! Congrats on finding a beater that will one day hopefully be a beater with more zoom and fun than you could have ever dreamt* dreamed*? hmm that will be a dictionary.com one lol

we have always sold first and second gen parts, and recently increased our inventory, we just dont seem to have anyone that buys parts for these cars

I think the jdm products are the way to go for the 2nd gen. They are just too expensive and sometimes too hard to tract down. The aftermarket is just so lackluster for us.

I already made fun of my boy Ken. I tell him there is one thing under 'engine' upgrade on his website for my car. Liquid I am planning on purchasing a 3 next year hopefully. I really do like the jdm products such as tailights, lenses up in front, etc. I'm an exterior junkie, not so much engine. But it is really cool that you guys are trying to reach to the earlier generations..

This is txmzdspd2gen's sig. A lot of what he has people with 2nd gens want. That is why his whip is unique and unmatched. Also intruder's whip has a lot of jdm products including engine upgrades.

Just giving you guys an idea @ protegegarage what people with jelly beans want more or less.

but those things are expensive. you know as well as i do that ppl dont normally pay prices for real jdm s***

I know, wishful thinking perhaps, but really the aftermarket is soooooo bad for our vehicles.

*sigh* its an awful catch 22

Yeah dude, the little that we do have is junk imo and the good s*** like you say is expensive and people don't want to pay for them.

Def a catch 22 or perhaps....

...a double edge s-word.

I am glad that I signed up on this community. I am needing a new trans and I am going to call you guys. My trans broke yesterday. The Good Lord is awesome in the way he works.
