would it be possible to put a k & n cai or any cai in an automatic p5 cause the coolant water stuff is in the way, also I have a ractive sri, would it be cost effective to go with a k & n cai for hp difference? or would I be better off keeping what I have?

All protege's have the coolant reservior, it just gets relocated a bit. I want to get a K&N... eventually. And your not gonna notice much difference (probably nothing actually). A CAI might sound better tho, the K&N is nice if you want to be switching from SRI to CAI depending on the season

So if I go with an ebay CAI would it be worth it, since I wouldn't be paying 250 bucks on top of 70 for the ractive?

i say get the cold air intake from ebay. i bought one of their no name ones and it fit perfectly. Exactly like AEM of Injen just without the sticker.

Really, does your eBay SRI have welded on brackets?

can someone post pictures of which cai's from ebay are great with fitment and with decent power gains? I'm at work right now and I can't open ebay but I can look at pictures that are linked separate from ebay. I have and automatic p5 and I also have a problem with putting a cai in cause of the water resovuar for the radiator, did anyone just mount that somewhere else? (I'm a dumbass with car mechanics)
