What have you done to your Rotary Mazda Today?

waiting for the front emblem to replace my cracked one. Should be here today. It will get sprayed like 4 times of black chrome paint.

I replaced the stock intake with a K&N aftermarket cold air intake system. This allowed more airflow to the engine and improved its efficiency and gave it more horsepower. Next on my list, I am beginning research because I am planning a turbo replacement.

My FC is coming along reall quick. Fixed the air conditioning, replaced all fluids except for coolant. Plan on doing this this weekend. Hopefully passenger window motor comes in today.

I got some carbon fiber engine covers that I plan on putting on. I need a new battery cover because the one I have now is currently broken somewhere and its not staying on properly. I pretty much did everything I wanted except tune, which I will get it done after my vacation.

BTW, Antoine, I am incredibly jealous. I want a 3 rotor Cosmo so badly. I want to import one when in a couple years when they become legal.

Clean Rims

^Nice. I like your other mods too.

FedEx arrived, and UPS later with my Racing Brake cross drilled/slotted rotors.

Alpine sub test fit. Had to remove rear panel and latch just to barely fit it in.

Hey i was wonder if you were selling the drifz 505 rims or if you knew where i could find them or who sold them

I didn't know this thread existed. Today I continue working on my battery relocation. I need to make a few more cables and then I can test the system to make sure everything still works. I've removed so many wires and connectors I figure it's a 50-50 chance everything works or it goes up in flames.

think positive, just don't hookup the car battery in the garage. (lol2)
on another note I got soaked and froze my butt off and ran my Rx7 around beaver run race track.

Believe it or not everything worked correctly on the first try. The car is in the garage but I had my wife standing over me with a fire extinguisher just in case :) Now begins the fun part of putting the interior back together.

I am happy to hear that you got the wiring done.

Been a minute since I have been on here, today I decided to pull the wheels to give them a decent cleaning. I also went out & pulled the rest of the interior of my 83.

Didn't realize you were over here too (I'm also on RCC). This forum could use some more rotary knowledge. I'm here because I used to own a Protege...

Actually on Friday, but pushed her from one storage unit to another (bigger one) with the help of a friend. This one has doors on either end so I'll be able to easily access her to replace the oil cooler lines which failed when I was driving her into the old one a year ago (already have a set of stainless lines on hand).

I put the SA away for the winter its turned sideways and put into a corner of the garage to make room for a friends '88 GTU

Test-fitted the roll bar with the interior back together. It's tight but everything fits!

The interior will fit, my friends 88 GTU has a bolt in cage with a full interior it is tight but it fits.

Nice!

I didn't do it today, but I took out the insulation in the engine bay and bought a HID fog light kit for my car. I have to get a new kit for the headlights, I might have to ship it out and get new lenses also. I also need to get a voltage stabilizer, and maybe a grounding kit (I don't think I need it with the voltage stabilizer).
