It honestly wasn't too bad and came out to about $150 cheaper than the AWR header. The reason I jumped on it was that the eBay.au seller dropped the price $100 since there are some scratches on it. There were only two and I luckily got one of them.

nice score circuit!
work done today, removing 2-3ft of extra wire in the audio system. im still trying to figure out why the previous owner wired it up the way he did. the head unit is on a switch instead of working off the ignition. i think when he decided to wire it up he just said,"how can i do this the hardest way possible for the least amount of money and make the user experience completely horrible at the same time. (headshake it was nice to go through and remove the twisted wires and electrical tape connections and wire everything up properly! no more worries about my head unit frying or fires being unleashed under my dash.

I found out I made a coolant/oil milkshake... Back to square 3 of 10...
Not too mad cause Ill have my more experienced friend monitoring me this time round but still, are angry about that.
Also, put the massive pulley on, with the timing mark... I was 10 off on timing. That's why there was gas on top of the pistons.
I has till march so im happy i could work these links out now rather than later. I probably should have just bought another engine at the amount i put into this. Could have had the FE3
i kid of course, i dont even know if that would fit into the protege as far as mounts go.
New oil and coolant. Probably a good clean of everything that could have been contaminated. How do I go about cleaning out the passages? Or do you guys not find that necessary?

tried to replace my front wheel bearings today and it was a HUGE fail. the axles are completely seized into the hub. I even tried to press the axle out using a 20 ton press and it still wouldnt budge.

I wish I had some suggestions. Maybe leaving some penetrating grease on there overnight if that's a viable option? Im sure you've already thought of options...

I ran into the same issue.
I soaked some PB blaster for 2 days and the 30ton press finally got it.
When you reinstall add a light coat of anti seize.
^ I'll be replacing all the bearings in the next couple of months, and that's my biggest fear. The worst part about working on the car is that the things that should be a simple install always take three times longer because all the hardware is rusted/siezed. I tried removing my PS yesterday to get to the last bolt on my exhaust manifold in order to remove it and one of the bolts that hold the PS pump snapped. Rust is making the engine removal at least 3-4 times harder than it needs to be!!!! (VENTING OVER)

Reallyyyyy annoying, so im going to finally install my oil cooler kit, not sure on the placement though, think im just going to drop it in front of the intercooler...and yes, before someone says "run thicker oil", im running 10-40. Was running 15w-40 but the car would crank over so rough in the cold mornings.

Ive seen the Doc B system before, just never really thought to much about it. May have to upgrade since I am on the stock pump still. thanks
More PB Blaster. When I did the engine swap on my Civic, I had to soak and heat the one axle every day for about a week before it came out. Took damn near a week of doing that to get the axle nut to break free using an impact too.

Realized my tires are suffering from "cupping" wear...right before Xmas, damn cars!! (bang)
Don't worry, I have 2 tires getting ready to show belts due to leaking beads and a valve stem. Dumped in a bottle of Slime and pumped them to 36psi to get me through the month until I get some more money$$$$$. I already replaced one tire a few months ago for the same reason, but beyond patching. $103/tire, installed from Tire Rack for Kumho 4X isn't that bad of a deal.
