What have you done to your P5 today?

Looks good, got a part number and quantity for the LED's for the cluster?

I bought from this place BTW

http://www.superbrightleds.com/

really easy to navigate. I picked some amber colored ones to match my innovate gauges
Always had good luck with that place, fast orders and quality products. They make super awesome projector LED bulbs I'm planning on getting for my reverse lights. My friend got a pair for his new Focus and they are amazing. I'm also looking at their Misc. section trying to fabricate some sort of fog light to hide behind my fog delete grill

Example of Projector LED bulb

evan, I just order 2: 194's and 2: 74's per a thread I came across

That's correct. I ordered 2 of these: 2 | WLED-xHP5: 194 LED Bulb - 5 SMD LED Wide Angle Wedge Base| $ 5.95 |
WLED-RHP5: Red

The 74's I believe will be ever so slightly small but will work. My 74's I had custom made by a friend of mine with an integrated resistor and everything is hard-wired into the twist-lok. It has 5 LED's around it also. Turned out fantastic, even though it wasn't what I exactly wanted. I had wanted him to do a single high-powered component LED with an integrated 480ish Ohm resistor as that's what I have in the HVAC controls of my Maxima in blue and they are bright as F! But no matter, his custom job works awesome and I am pleased. :D

^lookin good! :) im assuming the summer still works. Either way. I was planning on eventually running blue lights behind. I may not as the red actually looks nice. Any pics of the HIDs??

Changing color in the Protege's cluster takes a lot of modification other than just picking an LED color. There is a red film on the back of the gauge faces that has to be sanded off, but it's not as easy as just taking off the needles and motors, due to the need to calibrate the motor afterwards... which isn't easy on its own. Read through this thread:

... hope it helps.

However, all this LED talk and no one hit on my load resistor statement :( So, I'll reiterate, does anyone know which resistance I would need for my turn signals?

I know, I saw that thread :) I just felt I'd be long winded in saying I found this thread....

I dont really know though. Ill have to have a good drive with my current stock cluster and see how those treat me. Then I'll think about doing that mod. Im nervous I'll break a needle so I probably won't do it but I've got it bookmarked :)

WOW!!!!! 480 ohms for the cluster lights?

Yes, it actually looks like the LED's will run best around an 1/8W 470 Ohm resistor. The push-in ones you buy from superbrightled's are basically a super-tiny circuit board with the diodes and resistor all built in. I do have resistors soldered in to the back of my Bose deck in my Maxima to curb the power for the 6 LED's present there.

Timing is indeed off. Tried turning it over this evening- nothing going. My more knowledgable mate said there was a ton of backpressure and all that it's probably the timing. Pulled a spark plug and saw that lovely green liquid sittting on top of cylinder 4 (or 1- closest to the crank- not that it matters). Gonna get on that this week :) Almost there!!111!1! :D

Nice Circuit! Now convicnce AusOrion to ship them over for the rest of us. hahahahaha Can only imagine what shipping charges must have been...yikes.
