What have you done to your P5 today?

Can anyone tell me if my new rear awr end links are well installed on my P5? I got a doubt about which was the right side of the strut tab and sway bar?

HERE ARE SOME PICS ATTACH:

Vampyrate, I should have that box if you need it...cheap also...

Lewis, WAHOOOOO...can't wait for the swap to be finished...

As for the P5...drove it for the 1st time in a few months on Saturday...man I miss it...gonna drop it off tomorrow to get the idle fixed (not EGR), it is related to the line sticking on the throttle body...also ordered the last couple things I need to complete on it...

Miata has been coming along well also, we put in new red leather door panels with Porsche Replica door pulls this weekend fixed a few more leaks on the train horn setup, and made a mount for the Sirius...about to pick up a set of Recaro's for it and swap out the S2000 seats...

Drove it to Lowe's, brought home an 8 foot 4X4. I do love the practicality of a hot hatch. :D

Don't know if I need one yet or not. It's strange because the blinkers work just fine and the hazards work when I have my old lights in, but with the sedan lights/projectors they don't work at all so I'm scratching my head.

Today, I raise the lights a bit to actually be where they need to for aiming, just need to adjust left/right to center the "dip" in the cutoff.

ok so i installed the SLS midpipe and now its rattling against the crossmember bar. I put some heat wrap tape between them but it only slightly helped. should I place spacers between the crossmember bar to increase the space between the midpipe and it? or should I just pull the midpipe upwards with some straps? or both?

Hmmm I dunno, I have no clearance issues with my SLS, my header on the other hand is a different story and I used the wrap trick to stop it. Spacers sound like the best idea but then I dont know what that would do to the structural integrity, using straps to hold the pipe up could work but then whatever you use to pull it up will rattle against the pipe anyway...

yep washers will work.
you can also bend the hangers to pull the pipe up to where it needs to be. this is what I did and its all good now.

With Amy's Jeep in need of a new Alternator/Serpentine, we are back down to one car... mine. So after dropping her off at work today, I drove like a freaking stole it down 66 on my way to work (forgot my badge to get in the building and had to meet my mom, who was close enough to grab it for me, about halfway from home and work). Managed to get to work with 5 minutes to spare.

yea the tops should be on the other side of how you have it. Shane is right

According to the Mazda P5 manual, the nuts for the endlinks should both be on the outside of the sway bar and shock tab. The nuts should be facing you with the bolts coming from the back pointing towards you.

Washed her by hand on Sunday for the first time this season and then took some pics last night on the way home. While behind the car I had a 'faint' smell of gas so I got right up on the tip and there was def. a gas smell coming out of the exhaust while idling. I cleaned the MAF earlier and will be cleaning the air filter soon...you'd think a local shop would stock the cleaner but looks like I'll have to order it. Apparently AEM stopped making the 21-110 kit so I'm now looking for the spray bottle cleaner they made in conjunction with K&N. I don't smell gas in the cabin when driving or idling so that rules out an issue near the tank under the rear seats and I've never noticed the smell near the front of the car or around the engine bay?

Finally found a local shop that carries the filter cleaner and picking it up tomorrow. And to give an example of my mpg woes. I filled the tank last night on my way home and when I pulled into the driveway this morning the needle is jus above the 3/4 line...tripometer says 47 miles!!!!
