Thanks! Can't wait to get it home! It sucks that I won't get to drive it for a few weeks though...lol
I have a feeling, because I'm so anxious to drive it and already a very impatient person, there will be a bunch of little things postponing it's maiden voyage. "Well, I think we're all set.....oh, wait a minute, we need one of these. Well dammit, where am I going to find one?? No p5 part outs on Craigslist, no yards have them. OK, here's someone selling one on the forum, now I have to wait a week and a half to get it. AHHHHHHH!!!!!!!" and repeat...knowing my luck...hahaha
I do understand.
its baller as ****, and it makes shifting super easy lolI do not nor will ever understand the point of this.

^ WD-40 or PB Blaster first, then a thick, long screwdriver. Get the screwdriver in and try to "expand" the rubber until it slides off.
They are a b**** but use plenty of lube and they will come off. Getting the new urethant ones on is an even bigger b****. Heh-heh.
If I owned a shop I would definetely have one of these handy tools for removing them.
