What have you done to your P5 today?

goin to take off my exhaust today and just run open midpipe for a while to see how that sounds haha
why? because im bored and i want to see if the turbo whistles through the exhaust when i do tht
heard a srt4 with a dump pipe the other day and the turbo was LOUD, i know srt4's have a loud turbo to begin with for some reason but im gonna try it out on mine

dam, thats all i can say

my car is ******* LOUD now lol its like the midpipe just shoots out vibrations into the whole car, its crazy
my turbo is pretty loud too, i can hear it spooling and whistling just cruising around my apartment complex lol

got my muffler sitting flush again, but now when i take off from a stand still the muffler rubs on something making some noise. not sure what but ill figure it out when i adjust my hitch again next weekend. getting my hitch rack on wednesday, cant freakin wait.

It may be your hitch mount. They are awefully close not to be rubbing. Are you using stock rubber exhaust hangers?

What did I do to my P5 today, well I traded it against a new 2010 Mazda3 sportGT. Colour is Aluminum Metallic Mica. Picking the new car up on Thursday. Somebody will be getting a P5 with zero rust anywhere including the undercarriage.

ouch haha, what for?

I'm on a provisional license (even though I'm 19 :P) I had 2 friends in the car it was 2 am I was going 41 in a 35 went up a hill couldn't see the road on the way down went into the other lane cause the road curved right and I stayed straight then I got back in my lane. Then the cop got up my ass and basically stayed on my ass for half a mile then pulled me over. I have tinted tails and my headlights out...you can only imagine how the rest of that went down.

yeah it probably is hitting the hitch and am using the rubber mounts. it wasnt hitting before but when mazdaspeeder asked why it wasnt sitting flush i decided to go and check it out. so i got the exhaust looking good and flush but its hitting somewhere. so i just need to do some more tweaking to get it not to rub again. gotta drop the hitch again to put in a spacer i forgot anyway so ill deal with the clanking for a few days

yeah that half a mile he followed you is so they can have time to run your plates. its nice to make sure that the vehicle isnt stolen and that the driver isnt possibly armed and dangerous lol

I am having a vibration in my steering wheel and strange noise coming from the passenger side front wheel after that accident last week, any ideas what it could be? I'm thinking maybe I busted a tie rod or something when I hit that truck.

It's possible but I doubt it. Maybe I should rotate tires? Then again if all the wheels locked up that might not fix it right away, looks like I just need to drive on it.

When my buddy at the Honda dealership mounts my tires next week I'll have him look at the car on the lift to see if anything got bent or broken.

yeah that'd be your best bet, check it all out and see how it is. make sure all bearing are in order and such

Yeah I'm afraid it might be a wheel bearing or tie rod but it could be the tires. If that's the case it will take a few days for them to wear back down.
