What have you done to your P5 today?

You can get bushings and grease for ~$25...

O, and MattV, this will b in dedication to you. I'm probly gonna get a HID setup this summer. No retro, but HID at least. Right now I'm thinking 3000k fogs & 6000k hi/lo. You think I should stay with 5000k? I'm sorta undecided on 5000k vs. 6000k.

WHY?!?!?!?!?! Just kidding, but seriously...

Go with 4300/5000k for the headlights, if you're gonna go with HID's in reflectors might as well get the most light output possible.

Actually, if I were putting HID's into reflectors this is what I would get:

H4 to D2S adapters - http://www.hidexpert.com/producthtml/h4_adapters.html

GE D2S HID bulbs - http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2-Pa...ptZMotorsQ5fCarQ5fTruckQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories

AMP to D2S (for the new bulbs) - http://www.theretrofitsource.com/pr...id=97&osCsid=75e51b730e5ab9962207a71c5199dbd9

And then add the HID kit of your choice. This will give you the absolute BEST output for your money compared to crap HID kits/bulbs and allows you to use high end bulbs that are used in Mercedes', BMW's, Lexus', etc.

Lol, I'm probly gonna go with a crap Raptor HID kit. xaxaxa

What's so great about D2S bulbs?

D2S is the factory bulb used in most OEM projectors. ALL HID bulbs besides D2S/D2R and D4S are rebased bulbs that were hacked to fit into the halogen bases you see (H7, H4, 9006, etc). D2S bulbs will last you 5x longer and give you a much more accurate temp output.

I'm just saying, if you're gonna glare up the road use good stuff to do it LOL.

haha, fair enough.

If I am gonna spend $200+ on a kit tho, I might as well have you do a retro for me.... I'm ballin' on a budget. :D

I can get a fog & hi/lo setup for less than $100 from DDM! LOL stupid cheap... And I can always upgrade the bulbs to D2S & those special housings when the original cheap bulbs blow... Spread out my expenses a bit. ;)

Broke Four Tabs On My Front Bumper Cover... And Cracked One Of My Diffusers Or Whatever You Call Them... Pics Being Uploaded At The Moment

Oh it's your front bumper I thought it wa the rear. Lol

LOL... yeah it was the back bumper the day before... solved that one by just drilling two holes in what was left of the tab and tie strapped that puppy back up... toda was a much more worse experience because i actually had to drag my front bumper after exiting the stupid parking structure to pull over and try to reattach it as best i could... called my insurance and got an appointment on wednesday morning to get an estimate... i know you can't fix bumper cover tabs especially plastic ones like ours... i'm going to see how much i can get... my collision deductible is $250

heres a few pics... I have more uploading at the moment

The Driveway that did it... the only exit and not enough room to come down angled.

btw my energy suspension bushings came in today :) and did you see Ryan's car in the Hawaii Market Place? there's a sedan bumper on his car...

I washed mine. Yes, I didn't stutter. I actually washed mine.

Did any of the rust wash off? :D

that and the speed bump was in the perfect spot to hook up with my bumper... plus not enough room on either side to come down angled

I hate that. I've actually turned around a bunch of times because i know I can't make it. Thank God there was no one around me when I had to do so.

Haha I'm actually looking at new tires right now. I only need two new ones. I have 205's right now but I wanna go up to 215's with the coils. Is the jump from 205 to 215 worth it?

Depends on the aspect ratio. I am running 215/40/17's, which is really close to the oem 195/50/16 height. What is the aspect ratio of your 205'? 45?

Got a new shift knob today! Some of you probably won't like it but its great for when I'm on track as its closer to the steering wheel and its heavy as hell so its shift soo smooth. Corksport bronzoil bushings will go in next week then I need to hit up Redline for a boot to finish it off.

damn, that thing looks heavy

Finally started putting the hatch trim back in place after the spring install 2 weeks ago.. didn't get very far before i had to leave. the metal bracket that hooks into the back of the seat moved so i can't line up the holes to remote the MSP sub/amp... maybe i'll finish it tomorrow, for now i'll live with the stripped out look.

Should probably wash it sometime soon to, haven't cleaned it at all in the past 3 weeks... but then again it keeps raining here :/
