What have you done to your P5 today?

hahaha...but now you know so when you see a f/s thread you can act FAST! It took me about three months before I could call first dibs on a set.

Also so you know they sold for approx $30 a set new but I have seen them sell for $90 (people actually outbidding each other) and I paid $45.

and to think i ALMOST put up an early FS thread with my brushed DaveB's

Glad i didn't! I get to reinstall everything tomorrow!!

Mazda6 rear wiper, DaveB's, Injen intake, and tribute washer stalk

I know there is more on the floor, just can't remember

Oh, and we got the ipod cable hooked up in Callie's car, so, she's got her ipod in the glovebox controlled by the headunit finally!

What do you mean? This s*** would look tight coming right out of the hood and I was planning on doing the install at Phen's bbq. Just need some tin snips to cut a hole in the hood.

And hell no I'm not serious....4" on an n/a.......lol

Yes and they look damn good. The only problem is that like the MSP wheels they are heavy. Approx 23lbs vs the 16lb stock wheels.

There is somebody offering me the MP3 wheels for my wheels plus $100. I'm wondering how flush they are though, because I hear the MSP wheels aren't as flush as the factory wheels.

Anyone have any pictures? I can only find the MSP wheels.

That is a good deal....are the wheels in good shape? And like the MSP wheels the MP3 wheels have a +55 offset vs the P5's +50 so they won't be as flush.

Here's a pic of Bazooka Joe's car with them so you can get an idea (pic was taken by altspace)

That is a GREAT deal. I am slightly jealous...but I go back and forth about 17s since they would make the car slower, which is not my intent. I feel like all the pep from the mods I have done would be negated, and at least for now, that's not a tradeoff I want to make. The MP3 wheels look great tho, good luck getting them. Post pics!

Ya I am a little hesitant to get them on that point alone. Plus they would sit further in so it wouldn't look as aggressive, plus I'm on factory height but plan on getting the Eibach Pro-Kit eventually. Decisions decisions.

Factory head unit or aftermarket?

Alpine aftermarket

and

went home sick, but, couldn't let the car sit there in it's sad state....

So, wheels are back on, MSP lip is back on, mazda6 wiper on, DaveBs on, Tribute stalk on

ALSO, pulled the center console to find out what happened with the shifter. It was turned around

While the car was up and they disconnected the shifter linkage, the shifter itself managed to get rotated, so, removed bottom bolt and flipped it around and she's good as new.

Also reconnected the gauges, the dindo didn't wire the grounds back up

SO, reattached the ground and got oil temp and coolant temp gauges to work. Now, i'm not sure what's wrong with the oil pressure.

It had been pinging out to max PSI random, so, i am thinking i got either the gauge going bad, or, i need to reiwre without using wire nuts. lol
