What have you done to your P5 today?

lol....i dunno. that's what the warranty company dropped off at the mechanic's
 
time will tell.

I won't write it off totally......

But for now, i think i'll throw the intake, wheels, lip, daveB's, mazda6 wiper, and wait for ma new lights to come back and just drive it
 
From what i can tell, it just pulls better

Even with 3 people and the A/C at max, it pulled about as hard as it did before with A/C off and noone in the car.

I'll give it a good ringing on the way home w/o a'c and see if i notice any other difference.

This is with just the MP3 ECU and vtcs'less IM. No intake or header or exhaust
 
not if it really is an FS-ZE, cause if so, then i'll just try to source the j-spec ecu and waht not and pull just as good
 
Trust me, after this deal, i'm looking for a new mechanic.

He's done me right in the past, but, this time, he's had the "New guy" working on my car

and i'm not paying another mechanic to look at something that SHOULD HAVE BEEN FIXED under warranty

On another note If they decided to take the motor out from below they should have eat the alignment cost as well, it's not your problem whatever way they choose for the install.

Oh and I am glad to see you have smartened up and decided to keep the car, why in hell not when you have a car in basically good shape with a brand new motor. Do what I am going to do. Run the sucker until the wheels fall off. LOL.

check posts above, i wound up outa pocket a total of $200 for EVERYTHING

motor, install, alignment, and rental
 
Damn good deal. I am surprised it runs well with the MP3 ecu. I thought the ZE is obd1?? Hit up that MSP with the ZE (he entered in MOTM) to see everything he used
 
next dyno day is in September.

I'll be meeting up with rockeeter tonight so he can take ma Ractive header home with em
 
dunno what i'd be lookin at ! lol

and i don't really wanna pull the valve cover off just to peek

and i sent an email to corksport to see if they can help me at all
