What have you done to your P5 today?

Well I jost got back from Florida. Around 2200 miles on the P5 in a matter of 4 days (2000 miles in two of the days) and she ran beautifully the entire way. I need to get rid of the MSP axleback though. 2000 miles of 70-90 mph of droning almost made my head explode.

The trip itself was awesome and is a story in itself but man did I have an AWESOME time in the mountains of west virginia on my way home tonight. There was NO ONE around me and I whipped the P5 around the curves. 70 MPH speed limit was great and the drivers were all pretty good on the road. Luckily I didn't have any dumbasses try to race me or anything like that.

I did see a blue protege lx with a front air dam and an 03 rear lip and spoiler. It was a girl and I came up along side her a few times and she just seemed to not care. It was in North Carolina I believe. Anyone have any clue who it may have been?

Either way, I'm back and I can't wait to get some sleep tonight.
 
if you're talking about the turnpike in wv, yeah good road to run as long as you don't have to deal with people or trucks
 
Yea 77 with the tolls. Man what a blast. There was no one tonight except for a few trucks and stuff but they all stayed on the right side.

that's the one thing i miss....the only people who get in the left lane are people who are actually passing.....and man oh man do i miss driving back home
 
Yup. I was moving pretty quick the entire time back since I wanted to get home at a reasonable time but when I saw someone coming, I moved over to the right. There were a few assholes along the way but overall it was a pleasant experience.
 
well i finally got my car back from the shop.....but now it might be going back, looks like when they pulled the rear window they busted the defroster connection and cracked the glass........if it's not one thing it's something else.....but it almost looks perfect, a few lil paint imperfections. god damn shops


oh and here's a pic of what i did with the rear badges while it was in the shop

Those badges look clean... Go nice with the tails.

Ya, I'm probably in the market for a new rear bumper, since I got rear ended by some schmuck with no insurance last week. Never dealt with small claims court before... Should be interesting. (deadhorse

don't know how ohio is.....but down here i would turn that into my insurance company then the company would go after the guy....i would have to pay half my deductable(for a 'no insurance' claim, which i've had to do with 2 hit and runs) but the company would go after the guys themselves and take him for the money and would reimburse me for the deductible once they got the money, if it was like that

They reimbursed you for the deductible tho? I figured they would get their money, but then say whatever with yours lol. Cause I talked with Geico the next day and they looked into it and basically said, the guy doesn't have insurance so... ya. And I have $1000 deductible :( I know it's dumb but it saves me a lot of money on the premium. Pretty sure I'm s*** out of luck. A new bumper will be about $500 total with paint I would guess.

well i know here i would be reimbursed if i would get hit by someone with no insurance....i've asked.....but with the hit and runs i didn't of course cause there was no one they could go after
 
and usually the deductable is half of the reg deductable for a no insurance claim....i would turn it in just for the simple fact that you insurance company will go after the guy



edit: call and talk to your company about it....only one way to truly find out

hell yeah it looks better....especially since they painted the bumper.....i hate people to just like to bump cars for the hell of it.......now time to get cash for a motor to build and try to go fi......then money to fix all the dings and poo and new paint all around...........gah



edit: and i like having a rear wiper.....i like to see out of the back occasionally
