What have you done to your P5 today?

Clipped a curb with my rear passenger wheel today pulling out of mickey d's. Small nick on the very edge of the lip, but the sidewall split in half like it was cut. Seems that I hit the very corner of the end of the curb. Riding around with a donut until Friday :(.

gaawwdd i love ebay. only place where you can find deals like that. i even got my ractive header for 20 bones shipped 3 years ago and a carbon front fender for my bike for 45 bux shipped:) i buy things for around the house on ebay all the time. i can wait 2-5 days for something to be shipped if im saving 70+% off:) when the shipping ppl (fedex, ups, usps) are dropping off sometimes 3,4,5 packages aday at your house they start to wonder:/

went to put my sts on....and this happened

the bolt that goes through the shifter sheered off with the nut still on it. now i know the bolt has a head on it that should turn. anyone think it can be turned and come out. im hoping cuz its hard to get at from under the car and im hoping to finish it tomorrow. but i dont wanna have that sheer off too.

not sure i'm exactly sure what you're talking about.. but if it's the small bolt that holds the shifter to the linkage, after the nuts off, you can just pull it out.. replace it with a strong bolt of the same size.. shouldn't be an issue!!
 
yes the bolt that holds it to the linkage. its threaded still through the linkage....would i not have to unscrew it to pull it out. i was kinda fed up while i was under there and didnt pay much attention.

it's def not threaded in man.. that's what the nut was for. try tapping it out with a hammer.. you can try turning it out..

but it shouldn't have to unscrew.
 
ill try to tackle it again tomorrow....i hope it isnt too lose i drove it home lol. if i get under there and dont get it ill try to take a picture.
 
just finished washing and drying her. thats after working 12+ hours of working on cars at my job and i still found some time to show my baby some love. still gathering my parts getting ready for some changes:)
