because I myself have enough brains that when looking at cars if I see one I like but is a bit more than what I have, I move along to the next one.

But on the flip side it doesn't hurt to ask (as long as they aren't asking for a lot of repairs done first). Maybe they thought you had forecast some wiggle room. You know ask $5k in hopes of walking away with $4500 so they offer $4k and see if you counter....it's all part of the process. Now if they came in a few thousand under your asking price then I agree.

yeah, but i have been suprised by what people will take

the place we are living at now dropped rent quite a bit for us, and we are lucky we low balled it. we kinda wrote it off as a last resort, but it came through ok.

Oh, I'd have no problem getting offered $500 under my price really, its asking $1500 under after I drive to your work to show you the car and then also take a half day to take the car to your mechanic and he tells you the car is flawless....

at that point I should have the right to punch you in the baby.

Had a knock at the door, was 2 hoodlums offering me $300 MORE than i was askign to make me forget about the guy driving down


I call dude driving (cause i still woulda held my deal with him since he was driving), he gets pissed and is all "That's (*&*(& messed up man! You're a little *&(&(&*!!"

So, i ask, do you even HAVE the asking price with you? He says, "No"

I hung up the phone and sold the car

yeah, if they didnt have the money to wiggle with it, and they didnt tell you until after you went out of the way for them, then yes, by all means, punch the baby!

so what did u do to your p5?

i almost got run over by a dump truck today.

he was in the left middle lane, and there was a slow ass in the left, so i tried to pass on the right and he started to merge right (without signaling)

so luckily there was nobody in the right lane so i just kept moving, then cut across 3 lanes in front of him to get back to where i was.
