What have you done to your P5 today?

i like em, but i have to relearn how to drive the car on the roads here in tx. im finding all kinds of bumps and dips that ive never known were there before lol
lol. well. there's nothing wrong with that. it just kinda helps you fall in love again, right??

i talked with Finn today. he said he was going to txt or call you. He has had some trouble getting up with his friend that has the mirror

ok. well keep me up to date. maybe he could just mail it to me?? since i'll be out of town.. anyways, if you can cancel your order or w/e.. i have those parts. if you want them.
 
I swear the gas tank lights come on completely different times when compared to the MP5 and the MSP. My old P5 the light would always come on between 260-280 and every once in awhile I can brake 300 but that wasnt to often. The MSP 300-350 depends on how I drive it and still get about the same mileage as the old MP5.

Mine has varied dramatically this winter season. The light has come on as early as 230 miles and as late as....well it wasn't even on when I filled up this morning. The needle was just under the 1/4 tank line????

Best mileage I have recorded was approx 350 and that was all highway on a trip to Bazooka Joe's house.
 
stuck.. and i realize this isnt the turbo section.. but MAYBE some one else has had this problem.. so i got all this stuff for my p5... a turbo kit and everything... great... oil lines... I cant seem to locally get my hands on a fitting for the inlet on the turbo... and on the outlet... the connection plate i have for it has a hole the size if a pin.. iitttssyyy bitsy lil hole... shouldnt that be bigger? or is that the inlet side where the screws bolt into the turbo at..?

Yeah, isn't it great? I go from being all on guard for road imperfections & debris in the car to not paying attention to it at all in the truck. Always have to catch myself gettin back in the car to once again go into protect & swerve mode.

BTW, lied to my car the other day when I swore I'd drive it to work at least once this week it seems. Gonna be rainy for the next few days, definite truck weather. Oh well......least it's all snug in the garage...but dirty needin a bath.
 
Won a bid on some Recaro rails to suit protege, coming from japan via container, so wont see them for 2 months :( Ahh well, gives me time to find some seats :D

Nah, thinking some Recaro SR3 copies, can get a pair here for $275au, then will probably get the middle of the seat retrimmed in blue suede :)

Had good news yesterday, so, i don't need to sell my MSP lip or Magnaflow to pay for the retro.....so, they'll be staying

Just gotta wait a little longer to get the lip painted
 
Ok man, I'm not gonna bust your balls... and I loves me a Mini... But just remember how you are, and know that you won't keep it stock. Plus I'd be likely to believe that the payment would be higher than your P5's.

That being said... just get you a Miata on the cheap, and enjoy it!

As much as i love a mini, they are only thoughts.

And, the mini would stay stock as would a Miata if i go that route. That Mini has everything I would be looking to add other than tint.

how can you get a miata and not mod it? lol if anything you should get that and mod it only lol

but at least I'm consistent with what I want hahaha

ok, so i went from a WRX to an S2k but the S2k costs a lot less and i've found, much more fun to drive hahaha
 
If I were to do a mini, it'd be replacing my Pro5

If I do a miata, it'd be just a toy. And, i wouldn't mod it that way if i did chose to auto-x, it'd be bone stock, and not a money pit

As to the cooper's, i'm researching them base vs the "s" and, from what i'm reading the base isn't too shabby

As to payment, the pro5 is $180 a month, and, i refuse to get a carpayment over $200, so, the mini would be under $200 as well


and the pro5 would be paid off and sold when looking for a cooper

Miata would be a third car

She is all for a hardtop Cooper.
 
well, hopefully thats when we'll start looking to find the right one for us, we'd like an 05 or 06 w/ under 30k miles.

As far as the Mini, I'm sorry but the convertable looks like it should only be driven by women or men who dont like women lol
