What have you done to your P5 today?

It took me all weekend and part of this morning but I finally got the gt3071r set up in and running like a champ. 13psi is where i'm set until I get the tune just right but everthing below 10psi seems perfect. Just need to add a bit of fuel from there up! Still have to polish up my piping and clean up the bay...it's has never been this dirty!

looks good man. i like it. big turbo!

I'm making my P5 jealous by looking at new trucks. My '86 Toyota is becoming more expensive to keep running than it's worth so I've been looking at '09 Tacomas. I originally wanted a Nissan Frontier but NIssan refuses to make a truck to my specifications even though it's within their options. Either way, the P5 is going to have some driving competition here shortly.
Mine might be likin the rest, not sure. It has been driven 4 times maybe since Jan 14th when I got my 05 Tacoma. If you do get a Tacoma prerunner or 4x4 make sure you have 4 leaf springs in each leaf pack on the rear. If not, insist on it or haulin loads will bottom out & it'll feel like you are driving something without shocks or sway bar with the rear end all wiggly in corners & a buncha wheel hop & crap. There's a TSB for it but not recall so you have to bring it up. The TSB calls for new leaf packs, the TRD bilstein shocks all get replaced not just rear & they do an alignment...FREE. Mine had regular tokico shocks & 3 leafs & it sucks. It's over the mileage but I'm trying to get them to do good will on it since I've bought 3 cars there & this one was certified preowned & tsbs shoulda been done according to the dude I'm working with on it. Just a head's up, some 09s come with 4 now but have seen posts where others didn't.

Oh, back on topic...Swore to the car I'd drive it to work at least once this week. Hell, at this rate I'm gonna need some stabil for it, lol.

Thanks for the advice - I will definitely make sure all recalls/TSBs get taken care of before I drive off with it. It'll probably be coming in sometime later this week but I likely will not be taking it home until the following weekend. I just got a call from Toyota and they're now trying to look up wiring diagrams for my '86 - this isn't looking good.

As for my P5, I actually spun in 3rd gear today, it was unexpected to say the least. ~60 degree weather is perfect for my car. I definitely showed a big diesel truck that power/weight ratio is key!
