What have you done to your P5 today?

I let my girlfriend drive the wagon yesterday! She curbed the right rear a weeee bit. Nothing too horrible. Barely touched

wait, your new wheels? YIKES!!

Callie is SUPER careful with hers. I told her first time I see curb rash, she goes back to stockers!

No curb rash so far! lol

Wish I could say the same with mine. Looks like the previous owner of the MSP Racing Harts tried jumping curbs at about 40 with em :(

No...I am going to get the Speed3 rear seats to match the Speed3 fronts that are in there already...the rest is just to use for trade items...I will hopefully have an extra set of Speed3 seats FS though...I will be putting the Speed3 knob/boot on though if it will fit...

Still the P5...I should also be getting it back on Wed...that is what the bodyshop said...been there for over a month...total in damage ended up being $6,700...

Wow dude, it looks like you've spent A LOT of money on your P5. I need to get my tranny flushed soon, along with getting the belts changed.

Oh yeah, tranny flush is this weekend on Callie's car. She's at 45K-50K and no flush that I know of! YIKES!!

So, before our road trip to West Virginia she gets a flush

hey im actually about to do that today, 200k and no flush ever lol

where are the drain and fill plugs at? i went under the car and found the drain but idk where the fill is at..its hiding lol

we got a reminder from Mazda at 40K telling us it was due! They just trying to rip me off?

and, it'll be $150 to have the tranny fully flushed with the machine instead of just a drain and fill

If you take it in for them to do...yes. lol I honestly don't know the interval off the top of my head.....I am thinking 60k.

well i guess il just go look for the to plugs and let u guys know how it goes
got royal purple 75w-90...61 freakin dollars for 3Q

Is it supposed to be decent? The best cold weather performance I ever experienced was with BG Synchroshift II mixed with a little Lucas Oil Stabilizer. That was the shiznit. I've had it in the tranny for over 100K miles!

I'm trying out Redline as we speak, and it's better when the car is warm, but it's doesn't beat the BG + Lucas in extreme cold temps. (bang)

Manual transmission flush with Redline MT90 (75W-90) was seriously one of the best things I've done with this car. Literally, a very noticeable change.

hmm idk its royal purple so i figure it has to be good?
this is the 1st time im doing it to be honest

and the fluid i drained out just now is like a brownish gold, this normal?

edit: and i never ever got a reminder from mazda for anything, not even an oil change lol
but the dealership i got it from is closed down now so maybe thats why?

I'll be going with Redline as well, but i'll be taking it to get pumped out

Think it'll be noticable in teh auto-tragic?

from what i looked up on the forums, people said it was alot smoother after the change with an auto or manual

so it should be worth it, its really easy so far...whats the benefit of a flush compared to a drain and fill?

flush is 100% fluid change

drain still leaves something like 40-60% still in it?

At least that's what the banner at the local Pennzoil oil change place says

oh...they have like a machine that pumps stuff through it then?

well i already got the fluid drained so its too late now lol i like doing stuff myself anyways
