What have you done to your P5 today?

yeah, yet another thing on my list of things I need.

What about those of us that use a CF hood during the summer and stock hood during the winter? I guess I can deal with having no lift struts during the winter hahaha

Applied my zoom-zoom decal to rear window. Wifey's peevee gets one tonight. :)

installed gt-spec rear strut bar, and protege 5 door sills. next weeks comes the header (from protephile) awr rear sway bar, black headlights and maybe some tokico illumina struts

Got a free replacement wiper from TireRack for 1 that cracked. I like TireRack.

Also winter is over so the winter tires come off and the summers go on.

called Geico and lowered my 6 month payment by $300 by getting them to match AIG auto.

"I saved $300 by not switching from Geico"

I'm going to have to give that a swing with my auto insurence.

Took off the bumper and replaced the PS lo-beam. Hopefully I will get the wiper conversion done this afternoon (time permitting).

I wrecked myself snowboarding yesterday so the p5 wont be driving anywhere soon. I can barely move my arm to shift gears, let alone turn the sttering wheel. :(

why did you have to take the bumper offf?

Swapped out the winters for the summers, adjusted the rear brakes, removed 2 heat shields from the exhaust that were rattling.

Before and After lol

It's been a while, and they needed some TLC

Long story short - Bruce and I swapped the PS retainer clip to the DS and used my home-made (ghetto) paper clip to hold down the PS bulb. Since that requires the use of a screw driver there was no way I could hold both the bulb and paper clip in place while trying to tighten the screw with the other....not with 'all that room' (LOL) that Mazda gave us!

But it sure was a breeze taking the bumper off....thanks again to the NEPOC crew. (first) Took me about an hour and a half and that included playing chef to my son for breakfast.

Got her up and running yesterday - had to replace the POS Autometer brass fitting, hopefully this one will last longer. For some reason the MAF issue has magically cured itself but I now have an extra just in case.

Anyhow, washed her today so she was nice and clean for about an hour - pollen is all over the place. Either way, feels so good to have the P5 back up and running. New clutch and flywheel feel awesome though. Fidanza + Exedy ftw!

ugh i found a large nail in my front tire yesterday.i guess its time to get my new toyo proxies xD but now my baby is out of commission.

It looks like it would be really easy to access that on your wheels.

And yeah, Josh isn't the only one

I clean mine when I swap from summers to winters and back. Not a Josh clean, but to remove all dirt and the tar nodules that build up over time. Helps with getting a good tire balance.
