What have you done to your P5 today?

took the p5 auto-xing today. at the mid day break i was 10th out of 13. not bad for it only being my second time and still running the stock tires

Indeed I did. Two options are in mind, and are completely different vehicles. Thinking between an STi and a G35 coupe.

both very nice cars.. I'd say totally the G35 over the STi.. the G35 has class.

Exactly, though I have yet to drive the G. Both have great power and each with it's own style and purpose. Well, there's plenty of time to think it over. Also depends on mood.

they make the car drive sooo gooey I'm waiting until the last minute to put mine on. I think I'll have them in my trunk when I go back home for thanksgiving break but hopefully I won't need to put them on

haha yeah i know exactly what you mean the two front ones were new and the back two were from last year. Lots of road trips are coming up this year they'll get plenty of use.

my dad tried helping me put them on and he put the left rear tire on the right rear side (while i was cleaning the two front wheels and putting them away) and of course i didnt check until after i already had taken the left one off.. he said he didn't know what the arrow on the tire meant haha, then he claims that it doesnt matter.. lol I wish he knew more about cars then i did (which is not much). (poke)

he wants a fast car i i drove her 1400 miles this weekend with no problems. averages 28 mpg, but my average speed was aroudn 85

Last time I filled up I got ~25mpg. Looks like my ECU is learning around the 91 octane or something. I'll be interested in seeing what my MPG is like with the microtech.

Yeah, I've been running 91 octane since I went with the longer reach spark plugs and it seems my fuel efficiency has gone down a little as well. I'm at nearly 250 miles with 1/4 tank left - I'm hoping for at least 25 mpg...

I have the long-reach plugs and loads of other mods and am running 87 octane no problem since I switched back to the Protege5 ECU. That being said, I got terrible gas mileage on the first tank after switching to the P5 ECU. 25mpg, the worst I've ever recorded.. I don't think I had ever had less than 28, even on the tank where I did 5 autocross runs
