What have you done to your P5 today?

bruce, what kind of holder did you get...i got this one for my phone and nano...it is the balls! when i'm done they'll be side by side...:)

The bracket is from Panavise and the holder is from ProClip. The bracket looks similar to yours. What is yours?

I'm still planning on hacking my ipod dock to mold it into one of the cupholders on my car, but I won't have time to think about it more until summer. It would be sweet if I could make something that had the slot for the universal dock adapters that Apple has been pushing with all the new accessories, as then if it were mass-produced people could use it with any iPod in their protege.

Took the front tires off, cleaned the brakes with brake cleaner, masked off everything but the calipers, and proceeded to:

paint the calipers yellow! :)

you really don't want paint on your pads.....they're brakes remember?? let's hope you didn't get any on the "stopping" side!

I would have had to have gotten paint in behind the outer part of that assembly to have gotten it on the "stopping" side wouldn't I have? If that's the case, than I'm sure I'm fine. I only did the outer part there...everything else was taped.

Dang it all anyway. Told ya I was a newbie...

Was supposed to get the summer rubber on the car today... shop didn't have any lug nuts that fit the 'speed rims. *grumble* Now I have to check with the dealership tomorrow and hope they have a set in (not likely, esp. with my luck) OR use the rusted lug nuts from the stockers (IF they fit) until I can get the ones from Mazda. grrrr....

Your stock lugs are rusted? How'd that happen?

What springs did you put on? Looks like a perfect height for a drop to me.

It looks eerily similar to my drop on goldlines. A bit of gap in the front but basically no gap in the rear.

Just looking out for ya. Be sure to research as much as possible first and if you want to modify something, check to see if others have done it another way. Sometimes not all the info can be found in one post or another. Most of all, have fun!
