Thanks for the comp! I was hoping for darker but IMO they are much better than the chrome. I did like the way you tinted yours and I like Rednecks too, but don't want any grief from(five-0) so for now they will do.

so i was making a delivery, backing out of a blind driveway. i made it out, looked, it was clear, start backing out, and this ghetto ass kid runs behind my car and stops in the road. im going about 15, hit the brakes, and the big brakes lock and bam into a curb. no more side skirt. another trip to the body shop, another 500 dollars

*chuckles* Give me a bit of time/money, and it'll happen eventually.

I'll probably start with the "free" air intake mod. I plan on cutting out that part of the grill under the hood to increase air flow to the intake.

If I get bold, maybe I'll make a scoop of some sort to further aid/create the ram effect. Still not comfortable with the idea of plugging the drain holes in the snorkel though (that I read about.)

Don't need to cut anything. Just pull all of the front end funneling out. I did that for awhile.

resealed my leaky oil pan!! no more drops of oil on the garage floor!!! chaged the oil, of course...did some MPI tuning with terbow this afternoon, thanks tony! (first) then drove home like i stole it!!

haha, nice - and always!! the more i have my car, the more my plate suits me, lol (see username)

ordered the summer rubber today - gets installed on monday. woot!! can't wait; the winters are getting awful squishy in this warm weather. hopefully in a couple weeks the new suspension will go in, and then it will be just minor tweaking and enhancements for summer.


question for everyone, and no flaming please:
i know it's more common these days for a girl to mod her car, but it's still a stereotype that as soon as someone sees a modded car - slightly or excessively - it's automatically assumed to be owned by a guy. i've gotten this comment more than once and to be honest, it bugs me.

would it be cheesy/rice/etc to put the following on my car? it would be in brushed silver (like the rest of my *very* few decals on the car), and be placed in the bottom 'lip' of the rear bumper:
this is NOT my boyfriend's car

i dunno, it came to me one day, and the more i think about it, the more i kinda like it. what are your thoughts/opinions?
