What have you done to your P5 today?

I would bet on a bunch of s*** being stirred up in the fuel tank when he tops up and clogging the 'sock' filter on the fuel pump.

Wouldn't it get stirred as I run around corners then too? And it only does it for about 5 minutes after topping off then it is normal again.

And, the O2 you are thinking is the cause of the dropping idle and slight hesitation in 2nd gear?

Not necessarily, and not nearly as much. The fact that it's directly related to you putting fuel in your tank leads me to that conclusion.

70 degrees out today and I've already been out since 8 AM working on the car to try to figure out what caused this CEL last night. Re-checked and tighten all intake and exhaust manifold bolts, checked and tighten all intake couples and clamps, check over all vacuum lines and fixed a small (very) vacuum leak, dumped some seafoam in the gas tank and clean both O2 sensor and the MAF. If this doesn't fix the problem then I give up and have no idea what the problem is. I've been told P0171 could also mean a dying O2 sensor, but both of mine were replaced last summer so I hope that's not the case.

On another note I wish I could wash the car today but that'd be kind of pointless as I'm going to be on the road for a 10 hours drive here in about 4 hours.

I hate you all lol. Well, jealous is the proper term. It's -21 Celsius, but feels like -32 here! (that's -6 and -26 for you American types). My car doors were frozen this morning, and this is actually a fairly warm day, but that happens every time after a wash, regardless of how long I spend drying.
A couple of days ago I managed to slide into a curb and rash up my driver side rim and tire. Nothing serious but it was stupid. Only thing I did today was drive to and from school, all the while checking to see if she pulled to the left or not. Nothing yet, thankfully.

Well, it's pitch black and storming like a mother outside now. The roads are flooded, thank god I put the stock intake back on!

I'm affraid to drive over near my house. I have to drive through a lower area where water pools like crazy to get home.

Oh, and what I did, I installed the MP3 amber markers yesterday and am taking them off tonight to put the clear back on. Already sold the MP3's. I'm trying to get ahold of some Celica bumper markers to go clear rather than the amber

woot woot.... we hit 52

Got my RX8 wheels mounted and balanced

Called the shop to see when they can fit me in to have the DGM lip and front bumper painted.

More to come.

I got some PIAA fogs today (thx Mikey)...Need to figure out how to install. Should just be two tabs, I think? Searching for it didnt pull back anything. Anyone got a link or pics? I know Tylor does!!

You got PIAA bulbs? Or PIAA 520's or 40's? If it's just the bulbs, you only need to pull one bolt that is holding the foglight to the frame.

Before doing that, i recomend removing the rain ummm....the black plastic liner under the bumper. Get a flashlight and follow the cable from the foglight up and you'll see where it's mounted to the frame under nieth. You can pull it off that if you want and it'll give you some more wire to work with when reconnecting and disconnecting the foglight.

Once the fog is out, carefully remove the 2 screws on the back of the fog. Don't torque the heads off. I torque'd off one head off each foglight. So, they're each held together right now by 1 screw each. Doh!! When I take em back off again I'll pull the threaded stud out and replace the screw

Sorry I don't have any pics of the bulb install, just the after shots. I will be ordering a set of 55watt yellow bulbs for my wife's car. I'll try to remmeber to do a How To on that. But, honostly , it isn't really that difficult

lol I knew you had done this before...Yah, I got the PIAA Xtreme whites 4150k 12v 35W. It's just the bulbs. I'm hoping I can point them up more after the install. They just point way too low. Thanks for reply bro

No prob. I have yet to attempt pointing mine up. I gotta pull the fogs again and try that out. I did however bend the little tab up inside the housing to gain a little more light, but, next will be phyhsically aiming them up. Every single bolt on my car is almost rusted stuck. I didn't have the right tools to loosen the bolts on either side of the bracket to aim em up, but, when I have em apart again I will
