What have you done to your P5 today?

Keep us posted on how you like it. I have a spare transmission and have been thinking real hard about doing the gear change.
Works mint, took 30 min to do.

Few things:
You do NOT have to drop the tranny or any mounts.
You WILL break the plastic flute inside the outer cover (just helps move the fluid around a bit)
You will need 3.5l of fluid (Gm syncromesh here)

RPM at 110km before 3300-3400
RPM at 110km after 3000-3050

Played with the front bumper cover and passenger headlight again (they aren't lining up properly). Made a bracket and relocated my coolant bottle. Made a bracket and installed the WeaponR oil catch can. Went out to Advance Auto and bought things for my AFC install and things to hopefully fix the front bumper cover and headlight allignment issue. Pics in a moment...

i think thats the GTX gears? idk all i know is that it lowers ur last gears rpm by so much. if ur going at like 70 or so and have 3k rpm, it'll be like 2500 or so? i might be wrong

its the gtx 3rd gear you swap. I swaped in 5th gear from a different car.

Well, it wasn't my car...but I rode in DaveB's around Mid-Ohio a few laps on the 5th. Here's a pic out the passenger side window.

I suppose it would work really well on the highway. What about around town?

Oh $hit you are catching up to me....I must leave work now and find some nice twisties! :)

Replaced the rear turn signal bulbs with some chrome bulbs. Looks much cleaner now.

Oil build-up on AWR pan #2 :(

There are some more random pictures of my intercooler piping and junk in here

^^^ Is your AWR Pan leaking? Other than that everything looks good. I'm debating if I want to eventually go with the Corksport FMIC setup and modify that to my needs. I'm just weary of fitment issues considering where my coolant bottle is

I haven't been able to pin-point where the oil is coming from but I'll try tomorrow when I work on the brakes. The first one leaked real bad :(

That Corksport kit looks nice but I hope for the money they have brackets on the IC or some sort of mounting system. I'm tempted to see if I can just buy their pipes... maybe I can reduce the amount of couplers I have. Or I should stop being lazy and get some bends and redo mine nicely with welds etc.

Yeah my MAM piping is looking a little rough too. I'm also looking to run a BOV in the future and this would be a fresh start. I could also utilize an intake like the Injen or something. From the pics it looked like there were a lot of mounting points though. I didn't think it was too pricey (remember the cost of the MAM and Perrin FMIC's?).

I've also been having a perpetual oil leak with my pan although I know exactly where mine is - it's in the way I have the return line connected to the pan (hose and nipple) the clamp always seems to back out a little after a while and start leaking. This last time I teflon'd that sucker up like crazy so I'm hoping that fixed something.
