I passed the torch on to him since he's in Rochester as well and joined kinda right when I lost my car to the body shop

I'm going to call the body shop tomorrow and ask if the car is indoors and if it is, if I can come in and change the oil and clean the interior while it's sitting there. I don't have a final tomorrow so I might as well.

i'm just waiting on money and a little spray booth time at work.
i hope i'm not the only one who hates seeing those reflectors on my bumper everytime i walk up to my car.

If your car is black, buy some gloss black paint and just paint them.

For the longest time (3 years pretty much) mine were paint matched sunlight silver and I didn't mind seeing them that way at all. Now I'll have an MSP bumper though since well the bumper was in pieces after the accident.

You think we would let you have all the fun...haha That is why I sprayed mine with nite shades! Still have the lights but look much better and cheaper than an MSP bumper.

My original stock bumper had smoked side markers until I crashed into a guard rail on a twisty mountain road.

aww your bumper was still intact. I still have the big chunk of my bumper with the fog light and side marker chillin in my hatch. I want to keep it for the nostalgia

... the body shop thinks I'm so weird. First I tell them that I'm bringing in a different hood to paint match the newly painted stuff to, then I ramble off a list of part numbers for my car that don't match my VIN (from memory) so they don't order the wrong stuff, then I call them to ask if I can come detail the car next week while they're working on it because I miss the car

They thought you were weird?! Time to find a new body shop! (spin) You could always mount the 'nostalgia' in your garage, that is what rednecks did with his bumper....very cool!

My old bumper is now mounted to my garage wall.
