What have you done to your P5 today?

Thanks guys. I knew 14.7 was ideal. My KL is running pig rich around 13.5 around town and sometimes dipping into the high 12's when on the highway. I need to look into that. And just so I'm clear, the lower the number the richer it is, right?

first place i wud look is your primary o2 sensor.. i was havin a reall bad afr problem where it would bounce literally between 12.3-16.0 cruisin on the hwy.. could not for the life of me figure it out.. finally i threw a code for my prim 02.. replaced and everything was cherry after that

I have searched but have not found anything. anyone knows if 350z rims fit on a p5? i seen them on a ms3 but not found anything about a p5. if yes anyone got a pic. got a set of rx8 wheels i can get or 350z rims. i know rx8 will fit not sure on the 350z ones and i like those better lol

here are the specs on the wheels for you for a 2003-2005 350z:

Front
Size: 17x7.5
Offset: +30mm
Weight: 23.26lbs
Tire: 225/50/17
Rear
Size: 17x8.0
Offset: +33mm
Weight: 24.14lbs
Tire: 235/50/17

Going to record a video tomorrow of what the car sounds like to see if you guys know where to start looking. I'm starting to think that it is either a gasket or a bearing that may need replacing.

Added amps- 4 channel Sony for the front separates and rear doors, Phoenix Gold MS-250 for a 10" sub in the hatch. HUGE improvement over deck power and the wheel well sub (disconnected now).

Also found a cured a rattle in the rear suspension caused by a loose sway bar end link.

Pointless trivia- The Phoenix Gold MS-250 was Phoenix Gold's first amplifier, circa 1991. I bought it new right after they came out. The circuit board is gold plated

it depends on which wheels your talking about, there are many different styles. If your talking about the ones that kaze and sumthaiguy were running, then they'll fit, but youll need to roll your fenders flat, run a tiny stretched tire, and at least 2 degrees of camber in the rear. The fronts should fit with just a roll and stretch. This is for the 18s that are 18x8 in front and 18x8.5 in the rear.

cojsl- I dunno what the weather is like in colorado but I would think twice about installing your amps there. 1 Wet shoes/rain I dont think you guys get snow unless ur in the mountains. Also the heat dispursion is very poor unless you are runnin ur AC in the foot wells. Although this does save space, i did it before in my old accord, have every issue with people kicking the wires to moisture.

So last nite I managed to swap my Calipers!!! To most it means nothing, for me I have just graduated another step in being able to self mod my car. Didnt take half as long as I thought it would and is simple for the most part. Bleeding the brakes on the other hand, you have to have the patience of a mountain goat!

Today I plan on swapping out the HVAC controls then having the AC system re charged!

Thanks Phen, I was comming back in here to edit my post thanking you for your offer.

I found the cable on the parts protege was shorter and harder to work with, after I removed the clip on my DD protege there was an extra 2" of cable which made it super easy to remove the old caliper. After a bit of wrestling with the parts Protege it came right out without having to cut the cable which is what I was pre pared to do lol!

I want to swapp the tranny but I think i am jumping the gun as I dont have any understanding about this.

Had them in the same spot in my prior 2 Proteges, and my 626 prior to them (14 years? total), Hasn't been an issue. Don't haul large people in the back seat much either. Thanks for your concern though.
