I've really considered picking one of those up. I never really hear anything bad about them, but everyone has a different opinion on whats good. How does it compare to just having one 10 in a box? I want a big system but I need the space for packing the kids stuff along, so I can't. Been looking for something with big sound in a small enclosure. $190 is crazy though! Good find.

I really liked mine. I'm not into huge sound systems in cars but I'm a bassist (was semi-pro-ish at it too) and work in an acoustic islolation shop so I'm a snob when it comes to low end frequencies. But if you want a bigger system with a small footprint, they have some great small 10" sub enclosures out there. I like the Infinity because it's small and I just wanted something to beef up the low end, not something that makes my license plate rattle.
I was the 3rd owner on mine and it just fried this weekend. Would I reccomend it? Yup. That's why I'm buying another one. heh-heh.

Called the local JY, found a 99 and a 2000 protege. Anyone have any tips on pulling A pillars without breaking the clips?
flat head screwdriver wrapped in cloth and "gentle yet forceful" pulling straight out. that's pretty much for every car, but yeah take your time and be steady with it, too quick and you will be going to another JY.

99-00 wont fit P5's as they are a bit shorter. This I know from expierence.
Washed my P5 last nite after swapping the 4 doors and hatch on Monday. Looked funny bc hal the car was shiny and clean the other half look like a WWII vehicle. This weekend I should be doing alot on it as well. Does n e one know how hard it is to drop a manual transmission in these?
The transmission will be a cinch. I had mine in and out over the winter with only the help of one other guy who is not mechanical at all. The hard part will be the clutch pedal and the shift linkages and make sure you have a manual PCM. It won't work properly without it.
Manual PCM? I guess this would be my first issue. LOL Im taken it to a shop.

Made a pathetic attempt to finish some body work...LOL! It looks much better now, but needs a better finishing. I will redo it soon, but needed to get something on it for now.

u have the stock p5 bumper right? and that grill bolts on right to it?
I've got a fs from a 03 p5 I can sell you for cheap. Only caveat is you will have to arrange pickup.
