What have you done to your P5 today?

that looks great. im impressed. did you have to cut into the mounting point of the spare at all? i dont like the idea of cutting into the car lol. if it can fit back there without that i can fabricate something like what you have but using mdf or something along those lines. where did you get that box?

You could just mount that box itself in your trunk... Probably how I'd do it, vs. cutting out the spare tire area.

I wanted not to block any of my trunck area back there. Hidden is the key, nice and clean install.

I used steel, MDF would soak moisture.

I could have but it rusted out so I had to repair it anyways. I wanted a flush mount covered with carpet, no wasted space or box just bolted to the car.

Ya, I knew why you did it. Was just saying, that Ivan could just mount the box within the trunk if he didn't want to remove his spare tire and/or do all the fab work you did...

did you get the pics i sent you?

Yea I sure did thanks man.

If I had the know how and the balls to cut into all of that stuff and do it the way you did, I would. I think I'll be keeping the spare and mounting the battery another way. I've got a couple ideas. It should look very clean by the time I'm done with it. Thanks for the pics. One day mine will look like that.

Finished product.

Where from fish???

Also i put on some 5mm spacers i got in the mail.. along with redoing the headlights...they were starting to fade so mcquires wax stuff with 2000grit wet sanding and we are all good. Next have to tackle the hid situtation..and the front sway bar bushings..
